Basic Trope: A man that is both muscular and handsome.

  • Straight: Bob is a bodybuilder with long hair and a chiseled chin and is in his early 20s.
  • Exaggerated: Bob makes sure to flex his muscles in every scene he is in.
  • Downplayed: Bob is handsome but has a much leaner muscle tone.
  • Justified: Bob has a reason to be muscular, like a firefighter or a wrestler. His good looks may have just come naturally.
  • Inverted: Pretty Boy
  • Subverted: Bob is handsome but doesn't seem that muscular when we see him.
  • Double Subverted: Until he takes his shirt off, revealing abs and huge muscles.
  • Parodied: Bob gets the girls while Chazz gets laughed at.
  • Zig Zagged: Different adaptions may make Bob ripped as hell or slim and wiry.
  • Averted: Bob is handsome but he doesn't work out at all.
  • Enforced: The company making this wants to put in some eye candy for the girls.
  • Lampshaded: "If Bob shows off his abs, I'll lose it."
  • Invoked: Bob not only works out but makes sure to put as much focus on his hair and face as well.
  • Exploited: Bob does this to become Mr. Fanservice. Just makes sure to add a charming personality too.
  • Defied: Bob's not interested in relationships and has no reason to be strong so he lets himself go.
  • Discussed: "Sure Bob is handsome and muscular, but how's his personality?"
  • Conversed: "If Bob takes his shirt off, get the earplugs ready?"
  • Deconstructed: Bob's the villain of the story.
  • Reconstructed: Bob redeems himself in the sequel.
  • Played For Laughs: Women get hysterical when they see Bob.
  • Played For Drama: Bob worries this is the only reason Alice notices him.
  • Intended Audience Reaction: Perverse Sexual Lust.
