Idiotic Partner Confession: Difference between revisions

[[Idiotic Partner Confession]] is a situation in which XBob is keeping something from YAlice, be it a something he's done, something he's planning, or just something he said earlier that he ''really'' doesn't want to tell YAlice. The problem is, ZCharlie is also aware of this secret, and just happens to be a [[Too Dumb to Live|complete idiot]]. So what does ZCharlie do? He starts talking about it right in front of YAlice, if not directly to himher, of course! This will undoubtedly lead to XBob trying as discreetly as possible to get ZCharlie to shut up, with ZCharlie [[What an Idiot!|completely oblivious that he's saying anything remotely wrong]]. This will likely [[Do Not Taunt Cthulhu|piss YAlice right off]], and lead to all sorts of trouble for poor XBob.

YAlice can either be a [[Big Bad|villain]], [[The Parent Trope|some sort of parental figure,]] or anyone else who XBob would have any reason not to be honest with. ZCharlie doesn't necessarily be an idiot to do this; it could very well be a case of [[Will Not Tell a Lie]].
