When bartender asked for immortality, Mephisto dragged him to Hell, extracted all his blood when grinding him like a fresh meat and used it as an ink to write letters. Words are immortal.

* In one [[Archie Comics]], Archie saves an old man from being hit by a car; the man claims to be "Wally the Wizard" and offers to grant him wishes. A skeptic at first, Archie tests this by wishing for Veronica to show up. She does, but has a hunky boyfriend with her. After she leaves, Archie tries again, wishing for her to come back without that guy; she does, but now has ''two other'' hunky guys with her. Starting to catch on, Archie wisely decides to "try something easy" and wish for a gallon of butterscotch ice cream; Jughead comes by with just that, claiming he bought it but he thinks it's tainted. Which it is. Archie doesn't want any more wishes, claiming he "wouldn't wish this guy on my worst enemy", but [[Eureka Moment| then gets a fiendish idea]], and does just that, wishing for Wally to give his wishes to Reggie. In the last scene, Reggie is treed by Moose, having wished for a beautiful girl to like him, only to get Midge (Moose's girlfriend) as a result.

* Japan in ''[[Axis Powers Hetalia]]'' [[Deconstruction]] fic ''Mistakes'' managed to Jackass Genie ''himself.'' He'd found out that his humans were [[World War Two|doing unspeakable things to his brothers]] and confronted his Prime Minister. Nation-tans have to obey orders from their human leaders. Under normal circumstances, "forget about them, we have bigger problems" would have been dismissed as a colloquialism, but Japan really, really wanted to forget that he'd played a part in getting his own brother raped. [[Laser-Guided Amnesia|So he did.]] China was not pleased.
