Jet Set Radio/Trivia

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Hey, It's That Voice!: Goji Rokkaku's English voice is... none other than Mario himself!
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Many songs featured in the games (everything by the Latch Brothers, Guitar Vader and most single songs contributed by artists) have yet to see any form of re-release and in some cases, the original albums (if they were on albums) are difficult to find, leading to the games to being the best and cheapest way to hear them.
    • Also, do you want to play Jet Set Radio Future? Good luck, it's an Xbox-exclusive and has seen no re-release so far. Of course, it's readily available online for very cheap, unless you're going for the stand alone release.
  • No Export for You: Was once the case for the game's full soundtracks, which didn't get an international release, physical or digital, until 2012. The only thing the States ever got until then was some music sampler CD's containing some of the third-party tracks.
  • One of Us: Hideki Naganuma (main composer for both games) is a huge fan of the games and has been rallying fans on Twitter to get interest up for a new game. He's also apparently a big wrestling and anime fan and also enjoys Space Channel 5.
  • Technology Marches On: Originally, Roboy was an obsolete Noise Tank Model (NT-1000) that was taken by the GG's, repaired and reprogrammed.
  • Urban Legend of Zelda: With this many unlockable characters, it seemed natural at the time that Professor K must be playable -- despite his incompatible character model. The same goes for the elusive Coin, too.
    • Professor K is an unlockable character in the GBA version though.
  • You Look Familiar: There is fan speculation that Clutch could possibly be Coin. However, there is no evidence supporting this.
