Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | Lawrence Talbot, originally portrayed by Lon Chaney Jr., is the first and most famous incarnation of The Wolf Man, albeit not the first incarnation of werewolves in general. He's appeared, so far, in six movies (five of which feature Chaney in the role, and the sixth is a remake), two Neil Gaiman stories, various novels, and one shortlived (but rumored to return) webcomic. He's the Trope Codifier for most werewolf tropes, and one of the more human and tragic iterations of the lycanthrope story. |
