Legacy of the Sith/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Crowning Moment of Awesome - Oh so many in this series!
    • Mara vs. Callista. Who hasn't wanted to see this?
    • The entirety of the Jacen-Anakin duel at Centerpoint.
    • Almost any fight scene involving Jaina is going to involve tremendous amounts of ass kicking with a side of snark.
    • Kurol are extensions of Faybol's being and are so powerful that it takes everything Anakin and Tahiri have (these are the same two who defeated Onimi and singlehandedly won the Yuuzhan Vong War in the previous series) just to kill one. Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker, in a weakened state on a planet where the Force is tainted, destroyed three with one hand.
    • This same Luke had earlier plunged his lightsaber into Darth Malig's gut, a killing blow in pretty much any Star Wars fight. Then Malig uses uber dark side energies to heal the mortal wound.
    • Anakin rebuffs a flirtatious girl at a Coruscant cantina by casually jumping off a balcony into the abyss below to pursue a Raithian prison vessel.
  • Crowning Moment of Funny
    • Moments between Han Solo and See-Threepio are filled with these--even more so if Artoo-Detoo is added to the mix.
    • The Barabel Jedi Saba and Tesar Sebatyne lighten up even the most somber Jedi Council meetings with their off-color humor and trademark "sissing."
      • Kyle Katarn: "So where would you go if you were a living planet?"
      • Tesar: "To eat another planet."
      • Kyle: "Okay, everyone but Tesar--where would you go?"
    • Then there are the Squibs. To some they're absolutely hilarious, but to others they are the Scrappy trio.
  • Crowning Moment of Heartwarming
    • Most of the Namtar scenes, which is somewhat surprising, given that these are flashbacks most likely of Darth Malig's upbringing and early family life.
    • This trope is actually subverted during the Anakin-Jacen duel at Centerpoint when this vicious battle between brothers is interspersed with heartwarming flashbacks of the love they used to have for each other.
  • Jagged Fel might qualify as an example of Face Heel Turn in the fourth story with his Omega Red project in the aftermath of his father's death at the end of The Lands of the Dead. Opinion is mixed among readers as to whether this is an intriguing path of Character Development after the tragedy he suffered in the previous story, while others think he's becoming grossly out of character.
  • Magnificent Bastard - Darth Malig, definitely.
