Logan (film)/YMMV
These things about Logan (film) are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.
- And You Thought It Would Fail: Due to the low budget and R-rating, people thought Logan would flop.
- Angst Aversion: The film as a whole can be hard to watch due to the dystopian future, dark thematic elements and nearly every character dying.
- Author's Saving Throw: It was revealed that the film takes place in an alternate reality, thus making it standalone from the more optimistic films.
- Awesome Music:
- "Hurt" by Johnny Cash was used in the trailers to showcase the aging Logan.
- "I Got a Name" by Jim Croce.
- Marco Beltrami's score is highly memorable.
- Even Better Sequel: Generally seen as the best of the Wolverine trilogy.
- He Really Can Act: Stephen Merchant got some praise for playing Caliban in a drama rather than typical comedic roles.
- It Was His Sled: Wolverine dies.
- Memetic Mutation: "What killed the mutants? The corn age!"
- Nausea Fuel: The graphic violence is not only more realistic than Deadpool, but more sickening.
- One-Scene Wonder: The human doctor taking care of Logan is the only human that didn't die or is unlikable.
- Signature Line: “So, this is what it feels like.”
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Some fans thought X-24 was a copy of Sabretooth and they would have liked it better if Sabretooth was in the film instead.
- Tough Act to Follow: Aside from Deadpool 2, it is considered the last great X-Men film.
- Unintentionally Unsympathetic: While Charles was trying to give Logan and Laura company with the Munson family, that means that their stalling can lead to the Reavers getting closer to them.
- Visual Effects of Awesome: Very little CGI was used and it only applied to Donald Pierce's arm and Logan's beard, making them fit in with the cinematography.
