- The author using of AU divergence (ie Keiichi dying young in one instance and then him and Kanako being about the same age as Sara after his reincarnation/second chance)for Kid Keitaro is a real treat for anyone who stumbles across. Blends Heartwarming, Awesome, and Tearjerker moments to a very satisfying series of works. Currently at 3 fics for kid keitaro and also to note are his other two fics Sempai, my Saviour, and Ancestor.

- Synopsis: Keitaro Urashima arrives at the Hinata Inn to take over for his grandmother, but it's not the wishy-washy four-time failure Love Hina fans know and love. This is a man tested by fire, with steel in his spine, quiet and unassuming until pushed to the point of action, and far from easily bullied by the girls of the Inn.
- Tags: Very AU. This is a quietly Badass Keitaro, from a Urashima family which is powerful at a level somewhere between "knows important people" and the Mafia. Oh, and Sarah is a teenager.
- Comments: Despite how it might seem, this is not a Revenge Fic about an overbearing Keitaro who runs roughshod over the girls at the Hinata Inn while laughing evilly at their sufferings. This is a slow, careful fic about a Keitaro who is just as quiet and studious as his canon counterpart, but who won't take crap from his tenants, and who has the experience and maturity to do it well. And as you get deeper into the story, you learn more about those experiences and what made him what he is, even as events head in unexpectedly different directions from the usual plot -- this fic makes no bones about ignoring The Stations of the Canon while telling its story.

- Synopsis: A traditional "The girls wise up to how nice Keitaro really is" story, but without overdoing it like most do; also contains the twist that, apparently, the Universe hates True Love, as Keitaro still can't get a date to go right with Naru. Naru is not depicted as evil or bad for Keitaro- rather the Universe is apparently out to get them.
Loss and Redemption and Aftermath: Loss and Redemption 2, by Hawker_748 (Worksafe, but see Comments)

- Synopsis: The plot is a 'What if Tsuruko actually forced Keitaro and Motoko to get married', but its very touchingly handled and well-characterized. The second story, 'Aftermath', picks up shortly after the first, as the now-happily-and-for-real married couple deals with handling the fallout with the rest of the Hinata Inn residents, the arrival of Kanako (who is just a bit Yandere in this one), Motoko's pregnancy, and other plot complications. Very nice WAFF moments whenever Keitaro & Motoko are being a happily married couple, later on. Although its not that easy at first...
- Status: Loss And Redemption is complete. Aftermath is not, and appears to be abandoned after chapter 6. Still worth reading, though.
Last Dance With Shinobu-chan by Project Pegasus

- Synopsis: A classic, perhaps the definitive, Keitaro and Shinobu fan fic. Shinobu's request that Keitaro accompany her to her school prom has widespread consequences. The story is heavy on the angst and symbolism, but the sharp character deconstruction manages to remain in the foreground.
