- How did the MW gas affect Michio if he and Garai survived by hiding in a cave for hours?
- Don't they get affected by the gas only when they go down into the village the next day? And Michio, being younger, would presumably be more vulnerable.
- How is Michio going to commit Suicide by Cop?
- How is Michio like Johan?
- Well, they're both crossdressing social engineer extraordinaire villains of the highest degree, being hounded by a protagonist who, while not stupid, is actively hampered by an idealism extreme enough that, by the way the villains toy with it, might as well be. I'll admit Johan is a lot more subtle on many counts, but the influence is pretty obviously there, IMO.
