- Michio has some moments. The greatest one would be getting his evil boss, who is part of the MW cover up, hostage and plans to tell him many, many things by using matches. However, Michio threatens to kill his boss if he ever interrupts him which he does and throws the match to his mouth, sending him to his death.
- Garai has one near the end: sacrificing himself to take the MW with him.
- If the Live Action Adaptation has one, it's Michio attacking Garai, something he wouldn't do in the manga.
