  • Ear Worm: The theme tune.
  • Values Dissonance: A few, but not most, of the shorts contain a suprising bit of nudity, occasionally subverting Barbie Doll Anatomy. This did not cause problems when aired in its native Hungary, but it did when a dubbed version played in Romania
  • Unfortunate Implications: In one of the shorts, "The Three Tree Fayes," the evil witch and her daughter are clearly based off of stereotypical gypsies, though the narrator only refers to them as witches.
