These things about Metal Gear Solid Rising are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.

  • Crazy Awesome: Highlights from the new trailing include throwing a Metal Gear Ray into the air and dicing it to pieces, wall-running along a tunnel to keep pace with a train, and slicing an enemy soldier into dozens of little meat chunk. And it was amazing.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: At the end of Metal Gear Raiden: Snake Eraser, Raiden accepts that he won't change the past, and Rosemary implies that he could go for Metal Gear Solid 5. Turns out, she was quite correct, in a manner of speaking.
    • One might go as far as saying that Kojima planned it that way...
  • Holy Shit Quotient: In the 2011 VGA trailer, Raiden blocks an attack by Metal Gear Ray before lifting it into the air & throwing it.
  • Narm Charm: Go Raiden! Cut up that... watermelon!
