Category:Pages Needing Cleanup

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

Pages in need of cleanup for one reason or another. To add a page to this list, put the {{cleanup|}} template on the page, immediately after the Work, Trope, Creator, Useful Notes, or Just for Fun header. You can - and should - explain why the page needs cleanup by following the word "cleanup" with a vertical bar "|" and the reason the page needs cleanup.

These are subcategories of this category:

This category is linked from the Community Portal. Please do not delete it even if it is empty.

Pages Needing Cleanup, with reasons

If the "cleanup" template is inside another template, the reason will not appear on this list. Alternately, no reason will appear on this list if no reason was given. Pages with no cleanup reasons given should be looked at first, and either the cleanup tag should be expanded with a reason for the cleanup, the page should be cleaned up, or the cleanup tag should be removed.

A maximum of 500 entries will be displayed on each table.

These are sortable tables - click on the arrowhead icon in the header cell to sort on that column.

Page Reason
AGENCIA The character tropes should be moved to a Characters subpage and sorted by character.
A Farewell to Arms The trope list needs more entries, and is lacking even some of the tropes mentioned in the article text.
A Song of Ice and Fire/WMG This is the longest Pages Needing Cleanup page on the wiki; it should be split into subpages.
Accelerando Tropes about Glasshouse need to be moved to a page for that work.
Acceptable Professional Targets The major sections need to be sorted alphabetically.
Administrivia MOD: We need to identify what is or is not policy on All The Tropes. We also need to identify whether "breaking policy" is or is not worthy of a tempban - this is likely to be different depending on the particular policy.
Aina Confused article that is about a creator and one of their works. Needs to be split into two different articles
Airborn Tropes about the other books in the franchise need to be moved to pages for those books.
Akame ga Kill! This page has both "Category:Seinen" and "Category:Shonen Demographic" - at least one of them must be wrong.
Akatsuki Blitzkampf This page describes multiple games that share a title. It should be broken out into pages for each individual game, with this page as a franchise page linking to them all.
Albany and Sturgess There does not appear to be a work named "Albany and Sturgess" w:Floc'h indicates there are characters named "Sir Francis Albany" and "Olivia Sturgess ". This page needs to be re-written to be brought into alignment with Real Life.
Alternative Character Interpretation/Oral Tradition The examples have been grouped by tradition, but have not yet been checked for duplicates.
And That's Terrible Many examples are not actual cases of this trope. Comment out any unfitting examples that you find, and discuss their total removal in the Discussion Page.
Angel/Recap/S02/E01 Judgement We have two pages for Angel season 2 episode 1: Angel/Recap/S02/E01 Judgement and Angel/Recap/S02/E01 Judgment. These need to be consolidated by somebody who has seen the series and knows which spelling of the episode name is correct.
Angel/Recap/S02/E01 Judgment We have two pages for Angel season 2 episode 1: Angel/Recap/S02/E01 Judgement and Angel/Recap/S02/E01 Judgment. These need to be consolidated by somebody who has seen the series and knows which spelling of the episode name is correct.
Angelina Jolie The "list of roles" section lists the works, but not the roles. These need to be added.
Anime Hair The examples need to be moved to their appropriate subtropes, then this page can go away.
Animesque Discussion about OEL Manga needs to be moved to that page.
Apple of Our Eye/Nightmare Fuel WARNING: May contain high doses of self-promotion.
Ar tonelico This page describes both the franchise as a whole and the first installment of the franchise, and should be split into two pages.
Arachnid This page has both "Category:Seinen" and "Category:Shonen Demographic" - at least one of them must be wrong.
Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking/Other Media This trope is not "A list exists". It is "A list exists where the final item does not match the other items." Any examples that are just lists should be moved to more appropriate tropes.
Artistic License Economics The aversions currently listed under "Played Straight" need to be moved to "Aversions". Also, the entries under "Aversions" and "Post-Scarcity Economies" need to be sorted by medium.
Artistic License Gun Safety/Sandbox This is a duplicate page. Any information or list entries here that are not on the Artistic License Gun Safety page or the pages identified in the section headers should be moved there; once that is done, this page can be deleted.
Atheism This page is written in a way that implies Agnosticism and Pandeism are forms of Atheism, which is both patently incorrect by the definitions of Atheism that are given in this article and insulting to agnostics and pandeists.
Attack on Titan (manga) Much of this article reads as though it was written by a non-native speaker of English. It needs an edit pass to bring it in line with standard usage and grammar.
Audie Murphy This article needs an introduction that summarizes his accomplishments. (Yes, we know that that's a Herculean task. It still needs to be done.)
Axis Powers Hetalia This page has both "Category:Seinen" and "Category:Shonen Demographic" - at least one of them must be wrong.
Azumanga Daioh/Funny Duplicate entries need to be consolidated. (While we're at it, might as well sort the examples by "Osaka", "Osaka with Somebody Else", and "Everybody Else".)
BJK White The original version of this article was written by the person being discussed. Other viewpoints are requested.
Baby Got Back Some examples on this page, and the page image, belong on Male Gaze, being less about the character's physical trait than on the camera or a character focusing on it.
Back to the Future (film) This page discusses both the first film, the film trilogy, and the franchise as a whole. It needs to be split into multiple pages.
Band of Brothers (TV series)/Quotes Are these quotes about the work or the trope?
Banned in China Considering how many of the examples under Canada were obvious to any Canadian editor as being incorrect, all of the examples here for all countries need to be verified. There's also dire need for a quality and context check as well.
Barefoot Cartoon Animal The vast majority of entries here simply list the works and characters. All The Tropes is not a place to make lists; Examples Need Context.
Basil of Baker Street The trope lists that apply to only one book each need to be moved to pages for those books (and, if necessary, the specific work pages need to be created).
Basquash This page has both "Category:Seinen" and "Category:Shonen Demographic" - at least one of them must be wrong.
Battle for Dream Island/Characters This character sheet is missing a LOT of characters and should be filled out.
Beat It appears that this is the only page on the wiki to have an "Audio Plays" section. This needs to be changed to the same name that the rest of the wiki uses for that medium.
Bedtime Stories (film) The description needs a rewrite (for example, to make clear that this page is not actually about bedtime stories, but describes a film) and the tropelist needs to have the non-trope entries moved elsewhere (probably to a Trivia subpage).
Ben-Hur This needs to be split into eight pages, one for each work. Then, this page needs to become a franchise page pointing to all of those pages.
Best Enemies The way the list under the page image is coded is a horrid kludge. It needs to be completely reworked to take advantage of the built-in functions of MediaWiki. And, unless the entire list does nothing other than describe the page image, it needs to be moved to the article body.
Better Than It Sounds/Comic Books There are Newspaper Comics listed among these which need to go to their own page.
Big Finish Doctor Who/Recap The episode names need to be reconciled with the lists at wikipedia:List of Doctor Who audio plays by Big Finish and wikipedia:List of Doctor Who spin off audio plays by Big Finish -- this Mod strongly suggests splitting this page into at least two subpages.
Also, most of the redlinks point to pages with TVTropes-stype names ("Recap/Big Finish Doctor Who ..." instead of "Big Finish Doctor Who/Recap/ ...". These need to be fixed before being used; see the Mod Note at the top of the Recap index page.
Bilingual Bonus As mentioned in bold text in the trope description, this trope is not "This work happens to have a foreign language in it." It is "Hidden message in foreign language that is different from what might normally be expected in the context". The examples of plot-relevant text that happen to be in a foreign language (including everything in the Real Life section) need to be moved to a more appropriate trope, such as Multiple Reference Pun or Getting Crap Past the Radar.
Bitchy Bitch Wikipedia says that "Bitchy Bitch" is a character, not a title. Somebody familiar with Roberta Gregory's work needs to re-write this page.
Black Butler (anime)/Characters All of the character illustrations are from the manga. They should be replaced with images of the anime characters, unless therer's so little difference between the manga and anime characters that the two characters pages should be merged.
Black Gal on White Guy Drama The description of the trope is written with an Eagle Land bias and the Small Reference Pool that this implies. Internationalization of the trope is needed.
Black Humor/Quotes This page needs to be merged with Black Comedy/Quotes.
Black★Rock Shooter The discussion about the eponymous character needs to be moved off of the disambiguation page and onto a page of its own.
Black★Rock Shooter: Innocent Souls (manga) MOD: This work's description reads as if it is a press release announcing a work that has not been released yet. The work needs to be confirmed whether it was ever released, and either the description needs to be updated (if it was released) or the page deleted (if it was not).
Black★Rock Shooter (anime)/Characters This needs to be split into four pages: Black★Rock Shooter (OVA)/Characters, Black★Rock Shooter (anime)/Characters, Black★Rock Shooter (video game)/Characters, and Black★Rock Shooter: Innocent Souls (manga)/Characters.
Blake Lively The "list of roles" section lists the works, but not the roles. These need to be added.
BlazBlue/Nightmare Fuel This page has two sections that need to be reconciled with each other, combining any duplicates without losing any information.
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger/Characters The character descriptions and voice credits need to be taken out of quotation markup.
Bleach Please revamp the main trope pages by moving all character tropes to their respective characters.
Bleach/Just Bugs Me This is a duplicate page. Any information or list entries here that are not on the Bleach/Headscratchers page should be moved there; once that is done, this page can be deleted.
Bleach Movies/YMMV Should not be a stand-alone page, but a subpage of Bleach.
Blithe Spirit Too many entries list a work, but fail to list who the Blithe Spirit is. The characters need to be identified.
Blood+ This page has both "Category:Seinen" and "Category:Shonen Demographic" - at least one of them must be wrong.
Blood+/Characters Voice actors are people, not tropes. They need to be removed from the trope lists.
Blood Lad The spoiler tags in the description need to be removed, as per the wiki's style guide.
Bokura wa Gaia Pretty Cure This page was created by the author of the work, before the work was written. It needs to be checked against the actual work to determine whether the tropes listed here were actually used in the work.
Boring Failure Hero/Playing With This page needs to be merged with Failure Hero/Playing With.
Boss Game The examples are sorted into numbered types, but the trope description does not list any numbers. As per All The Tropes:Examples Need Context, the preferred fix is to change the numbered sections to named sections.
Brave Too much of this is written as though the trailer was the only source of information, belying its origins as an article written before the film's release
Breath of Fire/Characters We already have pages for most if not all of these games. Content here should be moved to or merged into the appropriate works' character pages.
Brewdening Love Expanded Universe/Fanfic Recs All of the trope lists on this page should be moved to trope lists on the pages for the individual works. If the individual pages don't exist yet, please create them; Works Pages Are a Free Launch
British Accents One of the embedded videos below is no longer available. A replacement should be found and used.
Buso Renkin/Awesome The entries here need to be moved to Busou Renkin/Awesome, if they aren't there already. Once that is complete, this page can be deleted as a duplicate.
CC BY NC ND Images According to creativecommons.org, we can only use these as Fair Dealing images. Somebody needs to check every image here and ensure we are in compliance with copyright laws. Alternately, images that can be replaced with images that don't use a "ND" licence, should be.
CSI Verse How can this be "trope overdosed" if there are only five tropes on the page? Surely there are more common tropes between the shows.
Canucks With Chinooks Needs a better name - the Canadian military doesn't use Chinook helicopters any more.
Captain Tsubasa This page has both "Category:Seinen" and "Category:Shonen Demographic" - at least one of them must be wrong.
Cardfight!! Vanguard/Characters The header levels need fixing, and things that shouldn't be headers (such as the single word "Tropes") need to be taken out of header markup.
Carl Giles This page starts with a discussion of an artist, then abruptly shifts to a discussion of a work by that artist. This page needs to be turned into two pages, one for the person and the other for the work.
Carrie Underwood This article makes no mention of Carrie Underwood's acting career.
CatSmile.jpg This is obviously a screengrab from a fansub. The show has been licensed - and licensed-rescued - in North America; it shouldn't be too hard for somebody to get the equivalent still from the legal release, then upload it here with better attribution (episode number, etc.)
Cats This page mixes trope entries for the stage musical and the video version; the two productions should be split into separate pages.
Caustic Critic The "real world" and "in-universe" examples have overlap. Either separate them completely, or merge into a single examples list.
Celda 211 Is this the same work as Cell 211?
Cells at Work! This page has "Category:Shonen Demographic", "Category:Shoujo Demographic", and "Category:Seinen" - at least two of those must be wrong.
Children Forced to Kill This trope is "Children Forced to Kill", not "Children Who Kill". The examples of children who are not forced to kill need to be moved to a more appropriate page, such as Ax Crazy, Cute and Psycho, Enfant Terrible, or Yandere.
Chinese Funerary Customs Needs to be reviewed, corrected, and expanded by somebody familiar with the subject.
Chinese Mythology This page needs to be revised to have a form more like our other pages on world mythologies, with a descriptive article at the top before going into specific details.
Christopher Priest Tropes about single works need to be moved to the pages for those works. This page is about the person.
Chronic Backstabbing Disorder There's way too much natter in the Real Life section.
Chuck The "Specific Episodes" tropes need to be moved into recap pages for those individual episodes.
Chōsoku Henkei Gyrozetter The Other Wiki says this is a franchise, with (as of the end of 2023) two games, a manga, and an anime. We may as well turn this stub into a franchise page for all of Gyrozetter.
Ciem This page lists multiple works from the Ciem series; this page should become a franchise page and each individual series should get its own page.
City Lights Needs a radically different description that feels less like a Wikipedia article.
Civil Rights Movement This article nearly-exclusively discusses the United States of America, completely ignoring the Civil Rights movements taking place in other countries in the post-WWII era of the 1950s and 1960s. The article needs to be moved away from being an example of Eagle Land, and re-written to provide a more global picture of the Movement.
Classical Music There are many red links for genres, composers and works that need to have pages created.
Comedy This needs to be turned into a category. Or maybe two categories: Category:Comedy and Category:Humor.
Comedy The people listed under "Examples of works in the Comedy genre" need to be moved to a more appropriat page - people are not works. Names to Know in Comedy might be appropriate.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert This page and Command and Conquer Red Alert Series (and their subpages) are near identical copies of each other. The differences in one should be merged into the other and the page turned into a redirect.
Command and Conquer Red Alert Series This page and Command & Conquer: Red Alert (and their subpages) are near identical copies of each other. The differences in one should be merged into the other and the page turned into a redirect.
Common Time We already have Uncommon Time to list songs that aren't in Common Time, and (as the description implies), this is Too Common To Trope. The "exception" examples here need to be moved to Uncommon Time and this page turned into a Useful Note.
Con Lang There are numerous examples of Wingdinglish here that should be removed (and moved to that page if they're not already there).
Conan (TV series)/Headscratchers This page is for the Dark Horse Conan comic series, which does not appear to have a Work page yet. That page needs to be created, then this page needs to be moved.
Conspiracy Theories Needs "de-recentifying" -- entirely too many entries reference "recent" events that happened ten or more years ago.
Cool Sword Numerous work names are unlinked or mislinked and lack italics. Some are potholed so they aren't visible when reading the text. And other issues such as spelling errors need addressing.
Cosplay Fan Art Most of the sections have been sorted by the title of the works of the characters doing the cosplay. Video Games and Western Animation need to follow suit.
Cossacks Examples need sorting
Covered Up Examples are sorted three different ways on this page. Should we pick one and stick to it?
Coy Girlish Flirt Pose The examples section is in a sorry state.
Crossover/Fanfic This page needs to go away. Instead of listing works here, please add the category "FOO/Fan Works" (where "FOO" is replaced by the original work's name) to the work pages that describe the fanfics.
Crucible Work needs a better description. Is it a book? A game? A movie? A chatroom? If it's online, what's the URL? And what's a "Slender Nation"?
Cuisines in America This article's introduction assumes that its reader lives somewhere in the USA. This needs to be fixed.
Cult Classic Before this page can be redirected to the category list, work pages need to be written for the redlinks here. Works Pages Are a Free Launch.
Dance in the Vampire Bund/Characters Many trope names are hidden by spoiler tags. These tropes should either be removed or unspoilered, as per the wiki's Style Guide. The context descriptions can remain spoilered.
Dangerous Liaisons The main text on this page spends more time on noting all the adaptations of the original work than it does on the work itself. It needs a much better description, and the list of adaptations needs to be moved into a disambiguation page.
Danny Peary Cult Movies List Pages need to be created for the remaining entries.
Dark Reprise Sections need sorting.
DarksydePhil/Analysis The page needs general editing to be brought up to All The Tropes' standard of commenting on the works instead of on the person - see Rule 1 of the Terms of Service.
David Letterman Late Show and Late Show with David Letterman redirect here. The show, which according to Wikipedia is called Late Show with David Letterman, should have its own page.
Dbzteamshot-oneframe 1353.png A replacement without the credits needs to be found and uploaded.
Dead Fantasy This page has rampant gushing and fanboyism.
Deborah Kerr The roles this actor has portrayed need to be added to the actorroles section.
Deepwater Black This page initially declares itself to be about a TV show, then spends most of its main text describing the books which inspired the show. Individual work pages for the show and each book should be created, and this page be turned into a disambiguation or franchise page, whichever works better.
Defeating the Undefeatable "Professional Wrestling and MMA" needs to be split in two, since one of those is scripted and the other isn't.
Demonic Possession The description needs a rewrite. Self-demonstrating articles are fun as subpages, but not as the main page.
Department of Redundancy Department Some examples have already been moved to subpages. For consistency, the rest should follow suit.
Desert Strike Tropes that are not from the first game belong on Strike Series.
Destiny Fails Us This page says the work is a web comic, but the provided link goes to a purchase page for a visual novel. This page needs to be confirmed to match the work.
Devilman This page has both "Category:Seinen" and "Category:Shonen Demographic" - at least one of them must be wrong.
Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Leaping Through Time/Characters Subheaders need to be taken out of quotation markup and put into header markup.
Discipline: The Record of a Crusade This page has "Pages Original to The TV Tropes Mirror" and "Category:Pages Original to All The Tropes". It cannot have originated in two places. One of those categories must be wrong.
Discworld/WMG The WMGs that apply to only one book need to be moved to the particluar book's WMG pages.
Doctor Who/WMG/With Spoilers All this content is over a year old as of 26 February 2015. It should be split into new WMG supbages.
Donald Trump Despite the warning box above, somebody has dumped partisan text into this article. We do not censor for politics, but that means both sides need to be supported. This page needs to be brought back to a neutral point of view and the focus of the page brought back to tropes.
Dracula The work-specific information needs to be moved to the pages for those specific works.
Drag Queen One sentence in the description has been commented out by a mod, pending verification.
Dragon Anything listed here that isn't tropeable should be removed. If you can come up with three tropes for a work or creator, then it's tropeable and you can start a page for the work or creator.
Dragon Age: Origins/Headscratchers This is (still) the longest Pages Needing Cleanup page on the wiki; it should be split into subpages.
Dreamgirls This page tries to cover both the stage musical and the movie. They should be broken out into separate pages.
Durarara!!/Characters/Anime Supporting The "Voiced by" credits need to be taken out of quotation markup, and the quotes need to be put into quotation markup.
Durarara!!/Characters/Main Characters The "Voiced by" credits need to be taken out of quotation markup, and the quotes need to be put into quotation markup.
E.A.T./YMMV This page needs to be merged with Eat Bulaga!/YMMV.
EXceed Needs to be reviewed, corrected, and expanded by somebody familiar with the subject.
Ear Worm Some examples have already been moved to subpages. For consistency, the rest should follow suit.
Ear Worm/Anime Dead links are starting to outnumber live ones -- someone needs to go through the page and find new YouTube links to replace the dead ones.
Eleventh Hour Mixes the UK and American versions of the show. These should be split out into their own pages and this page made a disambiguation page between them.
Elfen Lied/Characters This page claims that three different characters are the story's protagonist. At least two of those claims must be wrong. Somebody familiar with this work needs to identify which character is the protagonist, which character (if any) is the deuteragonist, and which characters are "merely" Major Characters.
Elvis Duran and the Morning Show The trope list is in sorry state, as if the page was still being worked on in a sandbox, instead of being one of the pages copied over from the TVTropes fork.
Erfworld with the comic going defunct and the strips being moved to archives.erfworld.com, all of the links to individual strips on this page are now broken and need to be repaired.
Eurythmics Wall-o-text imported from Wikipedia needs cross-references and editorial tags removed, ATT links inserted, etc. and generally needs to be made a bit more appealing to read.
Everything's Better with Bob Entirely too many examples on this page are simply "He's named Bob", with nothing else about the trope applying. These need to be removed. If there's no comedy -- contextual, inherent, or other -- in the example, it's not an example.
Everything's Better with Princesses The section on Disney Princesses is out of date and needs better formatting.
Everything Is Illuminated This page indiscriminately mixes information on the book and the film. These should be given their own pages and this turned into a disambiguation page between the two.
Everything You Wanted to Know About Changing Trope Names This needs to be made more ATT-specific. There are references to TVT mechanisms like crowners below that have no counterparts here.
Evil Genius Page image is JAFAAC, without the caption.
Evil Sorcerer There are too many examples needing context. All The Tropes is not a place to simply make lists; please provide a reason why each example is listed on this page that can be understood by someone who has never read or watched the work in question. "See episode seven" isn't good enough. See ATT:ZCE for advice on how to fix this.
Examples Searching for a Trope The examples that have found tropes should be removed from this list, since they're no longer searching for a trope.
Excited Show Title! There are titles on this list that don't link to Work pages, or link to parent pages of the work, which is preventing this page from becoming a category. Remember, Works Pages Are a Free Launch.
Existentialism The pages Existentialism and Existentialism (trope) need to be merged. Each work on the bare list on Existentialism needs to have Category:Existentialism added to its category tag, the bare list needs to be removed, the content on Existentialism (trope) needs to be moved to Existentialism, and the Existentialism (trope) pages need to go away as per All The Tropes' style guide for naming pages.
Existentialism (trope) The pages Existentialism and Existentialism (trope) need to be merged.
Extended Analogy Not so much cleanup as bulking-up -- there's almost nothing on this page; compared to what we have on other logical fallacies, it's skimpy.
Fair Use This page discusses only the laws of Canada and the United States of America, and only has examples from the USA.
Fairy Tail/Characters The subpages need more descriptive names - numbering the pages does not tell casual readers (or Tropers who have never seen this show and are trying to clean up the wiki) why they're split this way. Also, is Four a duplicate of Three?
Fairy Tail/Characters/Team Natsu This page identifies more than one character as the work's protagonist. Somebody familiar with this work needs to determine which one character is the actual protagonist, which is the deuteragonist, and which are simply major characters, and update the descriptions accordingly.
Fallout 4/Characters/Factions Text in "blockquote" markup needs to be put into "quote" markup. See the quote under "The East Coast Brotherhood of Steel" for the correct markup.
Family Versus Career The description needs a rewrite.
Famous Last Words/Western Animation/Ben 10 There are 34 characters listed with blank "last words". Should these be removed, or is this really a show with over three dozen characters who never said anything?
Fandom (website) This article needs to be re-written to provide a more balanced view of the site. Also, many tropes need to be explained to show how they apply to Wikia.
Fandom Rivalry There are many sections with idiosyncratic divisions between them (for example, "Miscellaneous" and "Other", or "Meta" and "Inter-Media") - they need to be brought into agreement with the standard sections used in the rest of the wiki.
Fanfic/Headscratchers Needs to be merged into Headscratchers/Fan Works.
Fanfic/Tear Jerker Some of the entries listed after the "Sub-Pages" section are for works that have their own pages here, and should be moved to Tear Jerker subpages for those works.
Fantasy Island There are a lot of non-tropes in the tropelist. These need to be moved to the appropriate subpages.
Fatcadia Needs to be taken out of the first person. Work appears to be MIA, as does its parent work; confirm.
Femmegasm This web comic is no longer available on the live web. Links to specific strips need to be updated to point to pages in the Wayback Machine.
Femmegasm/Funny This web comic is no longer available on the live web. Links to specific strips need to be updated to point to pages in the Wayback Machine.
Fictionary Many of the examples here are Con Langs, not Fictionaries. They need to be moved to Con Lang if they are not already there, and deleted from this page.
Filk Song There are duplicate entries between sections, and entirely too many bare URLS that need proper pothole texts.
Film/AB/Tear Jerker The examples on this page should be moved - not copied -- to Tear Jerker subpages for the works. (If a work does not have a page to make a Tear Jerker subpage under, remember that Works Pages Are a Free Launch.) Once this page is empty, it can be deleted.
Film/CG/Tear Jerker The examples on this page should be moved - not copied -- to Tear Jerker subpages for the works. (If a work does not have a page to make a Tear Jerker subpage under, remember that Works Pages Are a Free Launch.) Once this page is empty, it can be deleted.
Film/HM/Tear Jerker The examples on this page should be moved - not copied -- to Tear Jerker subpages for the works. (If a work does not have a page to make a Tear Jerker subpage under, remember that Works Pages Are a Free Launch.) Once this page is empty, it can be deleted.
Film/NS/Tear Jerker The examples on this page should be moved - not copied -- to Tear Jerker subpages for the works. (If a work does not have a page to make a Tear Jerker subpage under, remember that Works Pages Are a Free Launch.) Once this page is empty, it can be deleted.
Film/Nightmare Fuel The examples on this page should be moved - not copied -- to Nightmare Fuel subpages for the works. (If a work does not have a page to make a Nightmare Fuel subpage under, remember that Works Pages Are a Free Launch.) Once this page is empty, it can be turned into the category Film/Nightmare Fuel.
Film/TZ/Tear Jerker The examples on this page should be moved - not copied -- to Tear Jerker subpages for the works. (If a work does not have a page to make a Tear Jerker subpage under, remember that Works Pages Are a Free Launch.) Once this page is empty, it can be deleted.
Film Fic Examples Need Sorting... by the media of the characters, since the media of the settings is always "Film" and the media of the works themselves is always "Fan Works".
Final Stand of Death The original version of this article was written by the writer of the work being discussed. Other viewpoints are requested.
Five-Man Band/Anime A-F This is a duplicate page. Any information or list entries here that are not on the Five-Man Band/Anime/0-D page should be moved there; once that is done, this page can be deleted.
Five-Man Band/Anime G-M This is a duplicate page. Any information or list entries here that are not on the Five-Man Band/Anime/E-H or Five-Man Band/Anime/I-M pages (as appropriate) should be moved there; once that is done, this page can be deleted.
Five-Man Band/Anime N-S This is a duplicate page. Any information or list entries here that are not on the Five-Man Band/Anime/N-R or Five-Man Band/Anime/S-V pages (as appropriate) should be moved there; once that is done, this page can be deleted.
Five-Man Band/Comic Books Examples Need Sorting. I'm pretty sure that Batman and Fantastic Four are not Archie Comics characters...
Five-Man Band/Other The sections about identified media need to be moved to their own subpages. The remaining sections need to be sorted alphabetically.
Flashpoint (comics) parts of this page say the book hasn't been published yet, while other parts say it has. This needs to be fixed.
Flat What As per the talk page: "The examples listed here are generally in need of formatting and curation, and at a glance reads like a list of "things the editor had this reaction to" as much as it does "actual examples of this reaction"."
Footnotes This page still has its Wikipedia formatting. Everything on the page needs to be brought into alignment with the All The Tropes style for help pages.
Frank Sinatra The list of Frankie's roles is missing most of the roles
Frankie and Stein The current page image is Just a Face and a Caption, and needs to be replaced with something that shows the central theme of this work.
French Political System We should give the Presidents of the Fifth Republic their own pages, one per President, to match the UK and US.
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Abridged Not sure what this is supposed to be -- is it intended to be a general page for Abridged Series for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood? is it for several related works? It's so poorly written it's hard to be sure. Regardless, it needs serious work.
Fully-Dressed Cartoon Animal The description needs reformatting. The "Comics" example list needs splitting into various media.
Fun with Acronyms/Real Life/Science and Technology The page has multiple duplicate entries, which need to be consolidated.
Funny Aneurysm Moment/Western Animation/Disney A general edit pass is needed on this page. There are enough usage and other errors that it approaches Word Salad in a few places.
Fusion Fic Examples Need Sorting. (They aren't all Fan Works.)
Fusion Fic It appears that some of the examples listed here are of Crossover Fic, not Fusion Fic. The examples need to be verified.
Futret So indicated in the article text at the time we forked.
Fuwa.jpg File is missing and needs to be re-uploaded. The oldest copy in the Wayback Machine is from after the fork. A replacement image will work. The image was of the Full Metal Panic! character "Fuwa-senpai".
Gabriel Over the White House This looks like a recap in the main page.

Gamergate Many statements have been commented out by moderators. These commented-out statements need to be either re-worded to conform to the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment, substantiated because they can be seen as actionable in court, both re-worded and substantiated, or deleted altogether.
Gen Duruk Trope entries are from three separate fanfics that need their own pages.
Gender-Restricted Ability/Playing With Over half of the entries are blank

Ghostbusters/Characters The video game characters need to be moved to Ghostbusters: The Video Game/Characters

Going Postal (Discworld)/WMG The WMGs for Discworld as a whole need to be moved to Discworld/WMG. However, since half of them already have sections on that page, they can't simply be copied over; they need to be incorporated into the existing text.
Good Angel, Bad Angel Examples that that don't play the trope straight need to be moved from the "Straight Examples" section to the "Subversions, parodies etc." section.
Grayhaven Comics The Gathering should be split out into its own Works page.
Great Mazinger/Characters Appears to have originally been written by someone for whom English was a second language, with numerous grammar and usage errors, such as verb tenses and subject-verb agreement.
Green The spoiler tags in the description need to be removed, as per the wiki's style guide.
Green Eyes Entries that simply point out that a character has green eyes, without saying how the eyes relate to this trope, need to be deleted.
Guide Dang It/Video Games/Other Games Video Game Examples Need Sorting by genre, then they need to be moved to the correct subpages of Guide Dang It/Video Games, creating the subpages if necessary. All The Tropes:Creating a Page by Hand#Groups for Examples has the usual list of subpage names.
Guide Dang It/Video Games/Other Games/Strategy Please split this page into,,, and, for consistency with the rest of the wiki.

Gushing About Shows You Like (Sugar Wiki) Some examples have already been moved to subpages. For consistency, the rest should follow suit.
Gypsy (theatre) The play, the 1962 film, and the 1993 Bette Midler TV Movie need their own pages. Do not cram multiple versions of a work into a single page.
Hackmaster The page is gushing with praise for this work. Let's try to give it a somewhat more neutral tone of voice.
Halle Berry The "list of roles" section lists the works, but not the roles. These need to be added.
Hallmark Hall of Fame This page appears to be a half-finished stub. It is definitely missing content in the "Notable Entries in the Series" section.
Halloween (film) Tropes that apply only to one movie in the franchise need to be moved to pages for the individual movies.
Hanasaku Iroha This page has both "Category:Seinen" and "Category:Shonen Demographic" - at least one of them must be wrong.
Hand of Mercy The spoiler tags in the description need to be removed, as per the wiki's style guide.

Harry Potter and the Anarchy in the UK This page has a nonstandard organization with a large amount of general information simply dumped list-style after the tropes. It needs to be reorganized and turned as appropriate into more main text, subpages and/or trope entries.
Hayate × Blade This page has both "Category:Seinen" and "Category:Shonen Demographic" - at least one of them must be wrong.
Headscratchers/Fan Works Fanfic/Headscratchers needs to be merged into this page.
Heavy Mithril The examples under "Miscellaneous" need to be sorted. Then the sections need to be sorted.
Heechee Saga Needs to be split out into separate pages for the individual novels.
Hellboy (2004 film) This page covers two different works, which should be given their own separate pages.
Her Child, but Not His 1: The trope description assumes there are only two skin colours in the world. This needs to be brought into alignment with reality.
2: The page image is inherently racist and needs to be replaced. Please suggest replacement images on the talk page.
Heroes (TV series)/Tropes J-N The examples on this page need to be moved to Heroes (TV series)/Tropes J-P, if they aren't there already. Once that has been completed, this page can be deleted as a duplicate.
Heroes (TV series)/YMMV The "Assorted character YMMVs" should be moved to the appropriate writeups on Heroes (TV series)/Characters.
Hibiki's Magic This page has "Category:Shonen Demographic" and "Category:Shoujo Demographic" - at least one of them must be wrong.
Higanbana no Saku Yoru ni This page has both "Category:Seinen" and "Category:Shonen Demographic" - at least one of them must be wrong.

Ho Yay/Western Animation The entries here need to be moved (not copied) to Ho Yay subpages of the works pages.
Hollywood Apocrypha This trope has only a Self-Demonstrating description. It needs a plain-English description.
Homosexual MOD: This needs a thorough review to identify and mark misconceptions and inaccuracies. (Not "remove" - they need to be listed for historical context, but they need to be listed as being incorrect information.) The page is also outdated as far as non-USA perspectives are concerned.
Honorable Hogwarts/Characters This page claims that Real Life famous people are involved in this project. This needs to be verified.
Hoodwinked This one page covers two different movies. it needs to be split into two separate pages.
Hoshizora No Memoria This is a duplicate article. Any information or list entries here that are not on the Hoshizora no Memoria page should be moved there; once that is done, this page can be deleted.
Hot Chick with a Sword There are too many examples needing context. All The Tropes is not a place to simply make lists; please provide a reason why each example is listed on this page that can be understood by someone who has never read or watched the work in question. "See episode seven" isn't good enough. See ATT:ZCE for advice on how to fix this.
Also, too many examples miss the point of the trope.
Hot Gypsy Woman There are too many examples needing context. All The Tropes is not a place to simply make lists; please provide a reason why each example is listed on this page that can be understood by someone who has never read or watched the work in question. "See episode seven" isn't good enough. See ATT:ZCE for advice on how to fix this.
Humble Bundle Humble Bundle is no longer limited to games, but also bundles music, books and tabletop RPGs; the games aren't just Indie works, either.
Hyouge Mono This work has no tropes listed about the work itself, just about the circumstances surrounding its creation. Tropes about the work are requested.
ICarly/YMMV All YMMV tropes are subjective - having a header "Subjective Tropes" is questionable at best. What else is wrong with this page?
Iczer This page has both "Category:Seinen" and "Category:Shonen Demographic" - at least one of them must be wrong.
Immortality/Sandbox The examples listed here need to be moved to the appropriate sub-pages identified on the main Immortality page. This will involve some sorting and decision-making, as the work on this page was incomplete at the time of the fork. After that, this page needs to be checked to ensure everything remaining here - except the TVTropes style "Type I", "Type II", and so on headers - is already on the main Immortality page. Once that's done, this page can be deleted.
In-Universe Marketing As per this discussion, this page has a misleading name and a confusing description. Work is needed, but needs to be discussed on the Talk page first.
In the Blood (novel) Far too much of this page is written in the first person. It needs to be rewritten in the third person.
In the Heat of the Night This page mixes the novel, the film and the television series into a single entry. Each work should get its own page and this page should become a disambiguation between them.
Index Not this category, but the pages that it lists. The needed cleanup is listed below.
India The description here ended with the paragraph "Note: A lot of the pages below are unfinished, so just go ahead and create/expand them if you think you can." At the very least, redlinks (in ATT style, not TVT style) need to be added to this page.
Innocent Venus According to the Needs a Better Description page that we inherited from the TVTropes fork, "Could use some love from someone less biased."
Insanity Defense The trope description is filled with Artistic License Law and needs a rewrite by somebody familiar with the topic.
Intellectual Property Religion Examples Need Sorting, preferably into "In Universe" and "Real Life" sections each with the usual sections by medium as subsections.
Intercourse With You (Darth Wiki) Any list entries here that aren't jokes and are not on the Intercourse with You page should be moved there.
Invincible/Characters Two of the characters here have the trope "Big Bad" listed. At least one of them must be wrong...
Is That What They're Calling It Now? Far too many of the examples below are not examples of the trope, but of related tropes like Double Entendre. If it's not a snarky question or comment implying something innocent is actually smutty, it doesn't belong on this page.
Jabberwocky (manga) Every site on the web that says this exists uses the same description - which raises a warning flag that this might be a hoax. If the work exists, the description needs to be changed to something original. If the work doesn't exist, this page needs to be deleted.
Janeane Garofalo This article is heavily slanted to the political right and needs to be rewritten for a more neutral approach.
JesuOtaku This page appears to be about both a person and a show that the person hosts. This needs to be split into two pages - one for the creator and one for the work.
Jodie Foster The "performed in the following roles" section does not list the roles.
Joey Newman This page reads like a promotional bio sheet or a Wikipedia stub. It needs to be rewritten (and updated) to reflect our less formal style.
John Ridley Tropes for "Those Who Walk In Darkness" and "What Fire Cannot Burn" should be moved to their own works pages, which should be linked here.
Johnny Got His Gun This page haphazardly blends the book and movie. It needs to be split into two separate works pages.
Johnny Test Trivia tropes need to be moved to the Trivia subpage.
Jormungand/Characters This page claims that the story has two protagonists. By the dictionary definition of "protagonist", at least one of those claims must be wrong. Which if either of the identified characters is the protagonist? Is the other character who is identified as a "main protagonist" (which by the way, is redundant) actually a deuteragonist or merely a Major Character? Somebody who is familiar with this work needs to correct the descriptions.
Jumping Off the Slippery Slope The examples need to be checked to make sure that they actually are examples of this trope and not Slowly Slipping Into Evil.
K-On! Tropes for the manga, anime, movie and licensed game all are jumbled indiscriminately together below. Separate pages should be created for each, with a franchise page organizing them. Also many YouTube links go to videos which are no longer available and need to be replaced or updated.
KaBlam!/Radar Even for a Radar page, one Troper believes that the content is uncomfortably lewd. YMMV.
Kabuki Sounds The embedded YouTube video no longer works; a suitable replacement needs to be found.
Keanu Reeves The "performed in the following roles" section needs to list the roles.
King Arthur This page is about both the character and the legends that the character features in. This should be split in two: "King Arthur" and "Matter of Britain".
Kingdom Hearts/Characters/Organization XIII The headers need to be fixed.
Kirk's Rock The Other Wiki has a long and boring list of examples, which some enterprising troper could probably add here.
Klingon Promotion Too many examples go to four or more levels of bullet points. They need to be reviewed and natter removed.
Knights of Honor Please replace Strategy Game with whichever of Category:4X, Category:Real Time Strategy, Category:Turn-Based Strategy, or Category:Turn Based Tactics is appropriate.
Koden Sentai Koukenger This page doesn't describe a work so much as it mentions a work and then describes its relationship to other works. It should be reworked into a proper description of the work's plot and content.
Kuudere Although the page image comes from a work of Western Animation and the page quote comes from an American TV show, at the time this banner was added there were only Anime and Manga examples on this page. Examples from non-Japanese media are solicited.
Lang
Lang/doc This page still has its Wikipedia formatting. Everything on the page needs to be brought into alignment with the All The Tropes style for help pages.
Large Ham/Film "Other Hams On The Menu" is a mix of Hams by Work and Hams by Person. That's not kosher. The section needs to be sorted into at least two - Other Works and Other Hams.
Large Ham/Film/Disney Animated Canon Examples Need Sorting by film, please. Somebody who know where the examples that don't say which film they're from are from will need to do this.
Law & Order/Recap The redlinks on this page are in TV Tropes format. They need to be changed to All The Tropes format before being used.
Lawful Stupid, Chaotic Stupid This page is currently undergoing editing to split it into separate pages. Please put new examples on each alignment's page, and not here.
Leona Lewis This article says nothing about her acting career.
Lipstick Lesbian There are too many examples needing context. All The Tropes is not a place to simply make lists; please provide a reason why each example is listed on this page that can be understood by someone who has never read or watched the work in question. "See episode seven" isn't good enough. See ATT:ZCE for advice on how to fix this.
Listen to Me, Girls. I Am Your Father! This page has both "Category:Shonen Demographic" and "Category:Shoujo Demographic". At least one of those has to be wrong - it can't be both.
Literature/Heartwarming MOD: All of these entries belong on the Heartwarmiong subpages for their works, and should be moved there. Once that is done, this page can be deleted.
Little Miss Snarker There are too many examples needing context. All The Tropes is not a place to simply make lists; please provide a reason why each example is listed on this page that can be understood by someone who has never read or watched the work in question. "See episode seven" isn't good enough. See ATT:ZCE for advice on how to fix this.
Live-Action TV/Tear Jerker/Lists that need to be integrated into existing Tear Jerker pages MOD: All of these entries belong on the existing Tear Jerker subpages for their works, and should be moved to those pages. Once that is done, this page can be deleted.
Live-Action TV/Tear Jerker/Lists that need to be split by individual works MOD: All of these entries belong on the Tear Jerker subpages for their works, and should be moved there. If the work pages don't exist yet, remember that Works Pages Are a Free Launch. Once that is done, this page can be deleted.
Live-Action TV/Tear Jerker/Series that need Works Pages MOD: All of these entries belong on the Tear Jerker subpages for their works, and should be moved there. Works Pages Are a Free Launch. Once all of these shows have Works Pages and Tear Jerker subpages, this page can be deleted.
Long Runners Someone needs to check all shows listed as still running to confirm that they are still running, and change the template-based running ages for those that aren't to hard text with their years of activity.
Long Running Book Series Many entries give a timespan of "(year) to present". These need to be verified and updated where necessary.
Long Title Some examples have already been moved to subpages. For consistency, the rest should follow suit.
Lorna Doone This work has no description at all. It needs something in the way of a description (more than just "Lorna Doone is a book." - the infobox and the Source subpage cannot carry the entire load.
Lucky Luke Multiple versions of this work -- including but not limited to comic books, films and licensed games -- are documented on this page. Each work should receive its own page with a Franchise page linking them together.
Lunacy (video game) This is not the game described at wikipedia:Lunacy (video game). That game needs a Work page. Does this game actually exist?
Luther Strode Too many of the tropes listed below have no context or details.
Magic: The Gathering/Characters The character names need to be taken out of boldface markup and put into header markup, and tropelist headers need to be added. See the "Miscellaneous Non-Planeswalkers" section for the correct format.

Mahou Sensei Negima/Characters/Other The headers need to be fixed. Duplicate headers need to be removed, things that are not headers need to be taken out of header markup, and "level-7" headers (which do not exist in MediaWiki) need to be replaced with something else.
Mai gem tears.png This show has been legally available on DVD in North America since 2008. Surely we can obtain a screen-grab of this frame that doesn't have fansubbers' subtitles plastered all over it.
Malaproper Self-Demonstrating versions are fun, but should be on their own subpages. The main page should be clear to read.
Man-Eating Plant Sections need to be cleaned up and re-sorted
Manual for the Solution of Military Ciphers/Source The footnotes need to be fixed.
Mark L. Van Name Point form.
Sound like Tarzan.
Hard to read.
Mark Wahlberg The "performed in the following roles" section needs to list the roles.
Marvel Comics Editors in Chief Two people are listed as the current editor-in-chief. At least one of these must be wrong.
Mary McDonnell This page is a snapshot of her career as of the very-early 2010s. Roles before and after that window need to be mentioned. Also, a set of Creator Tropes would be nice.
Matthew McConaughey The "list of roles" section lists the works, but not the roles. These need to be added.
Mazinger/Awesome This page needs to be merged with Mazinger Z/Awesome.
Mazinger Z/Characters The headers are a confused, disorganized mess with some duplications.
Media Categories FAQ This page was still under construction at TVT when we forked. What further changes, if any, does it still need?
Media Research Failure/Other Media Examples Need Sorting by medium, then the various media that have been identified need their own subpages of Pages Needing Cleanup.
Meg Ryan The roles section lists the works, but not her roles in those works. This needs to be fixed.
Meganekko This trope is Always Female by dictionary definition. The male examples need to be moved to Megane (which, despite some people's misconception, is not a fanspeak term).
Melting Film Effect The page image is a dead YouTube link. A replacement example is needed.
Memetic Badass/Other Media Examples Need Sorting by medium, then the various media that have been identified need their own subpages of Pages Needing Cleanup.
Men Are Generic, Women Are Special Needs better organization -- the mass of bullet points before the examples from individual works should be split up into more main text and sorted examples, as best makes sense for each.
Metal Gear Solid Rising/YMMV This page needs to be merged with Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance/YMMV
Mind Control Device Examples that do not use devices need to be moved to other trope pages about Mind Control.
Misfits (TV series)/Characters The headers need to be fixed.
Missing 1. All work names should be un-potholed, for ease of copying-and-pasting the page names.
2. The entire Live-Action TV "Episodes" subsection is commented out because it uses Wikipedia-style links. The links need to be fixed and the section made visible again.
Mist Robed Gate The page quote is copied directly from the work's publicity material. A better quote should be found for the page.
Moment of Awesome (Sugar Wiki)/Film/Other Film Examples listed here for movies with their own wiki pages need to be moved to the Awesome subpages for those movies. If the works pages don't exist already, then they need to be created.
Moment of Awesome (Sugar Wiki)/Other This page is too large and scattershot to be useful. The examples below need to be moved to Awesome pages under the specific works they apply to.

Monster Somebody decided to be cute instead of following the standard wiki style. Adding entries shows why this was a bad idea. This page needs to be brought into agreement with the other disambiguation pages on All The Tropes.
Montreal Screwjob This needs a summary of the event's impact in the wrestling world. The history recap needs to be tightened.
Multi-Armed Multitasking Examples of multi-armed characters who don't multitask need to be moved to Multi-Armed and Dangerous.
Muppets/Headscratchers This page needs to be merged with The Muppets/Headscratchers.
Musicians/Funny There are entries below the link list which should be moved the appropriate artist's Funny page, if they're not already there, and delete from this one.
My God, What Have I Done? This trope's definition is muddled; the main text and example listings can't seem to agree on what constitutes this trope.
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic/Fridge Brilliance This is the longest Pages Needing Cleanup page on the wiki; it should be split into subpages.
Myers-Briggs Examples Need Sorting
Nanoha GamerS Every external link on this page needs to be updated.
Naomi Watts The "performed in the following roles" section needs to list the roles. It's also woefully incomplete, according to Naomi Watts filmography.
Narm/Music Many of these are Glurge, not Narm, and should be moved to the Glurge list.
Natalie Portman 1: The description needs to be expanded - she's been in more than just a few space opera films, really.
2: Most of the entries in the "Roles" section are missing the roles - they need to be added.
Native American Mythology For a page about "various Native American mythologies and Oral Tradition", there's a lot of examples from Lakota lore and not very many examples from lore from other nations. This needs to be fixed by adding more examples from other nations.
Needs More Love (Sugar Wiki) Many of these requests for more love are over a decade old, if not substantially older; the works they point to may have gotten that love in the years since it was requested. If a work on this page has a blue link, it should be checked out and removed if it has more than a token page behind it.
Never Mess with Granny Far too many examples in the "Real Life" section are a decade or more old and are written as if they're the latest news. These need to be cleaned up and "de-recentified".
New Media Tropes Most if not all of what are listed here are Web Original tropes, not New Media tropes. (New Media Are Evil and Old Media Are Evil are New Media tropes, to show the difference.)
Nightmare Fuel/Advertising The examples listed here need to be moved to Nightmare Fuel subpages of the matching works, complete with Category:Advertising/Nightmare Fuel, and that category needs to be confirmed to be present on all of the subpages listed here. Once that is finished, then the description curently on this page can be copied to Category:Advertising/Nightmare Fuel and this page redirected to that category.
Nightmare Fuel/Other Media This needs to be turned into multiple categories.
Nintendo Hard/Uncategorised If you know where these examples should be listed, please move the examples to the appropriate pages.
No Party Given While the most blatant exceptions and subversions have been moved to the "Exceptions/Subversions" section, there are enough examples in the "Played Straight" section that wink and nod at characters' parties (and assume everybody around the world know what the allusions are - bad writing!) that somebody who is familiar with the political parties in the USA needs to go through and move the remaining examples to the correct sections.
No Waterproofing in the Future This trope is "vulnerable to water", not "cannot swim". Examples of the latter should be moved to Weaksauce Weakness or another more-appropriate trope.
Noble Profession The examples need to be moved into a separate section on the page.
Noli Me Tángere/Source This page still has its plain-text formatting, including plain-text chapter headers and numbered footnotes that don't link to the footnote text.
Nyaruko: Crawling with Love This page has both "Category:Seinen" and "Category:Shonen Demographic" - at least one of them must be wrong.
Obstructive Zealot The examples on this page need sorting.
Old British Money While this page is still good in September 2022, the paragraph discussing modern coins might need to be updated in 2023 with the passing of Elizabeth II and the ascendance of Charles III.
Older Than They Look/Real Life [when?], [when?], [when?], [when?], [when?]... Almost every entry has a particular celebrity's age as of... some time. Specific ages should be replaced where possible with the {{Age}} template so that they auto-update.
One-Woman Wail Wordless singing that isn't the otherworldly, often anguished, and even startling wail is not this trope, it's Scatting. Feel free to move examples which would be more at home over there.
One Piece/Characters/The Seven Warlords of the Sea This page is in need of some Wiki Magic for the Doflamingo, Kuma, and Moria folders.
Ookamikakushi/Characters Is this page about the visual novel or the anime? The tropes need to be identified as to their source media, and the page split if they are not all from one medium.
Orphaned Series/Web Comics This list needs to be checked to make sure it is accurate. Then the pages that are still linked from here need to have Category:Defunct Web Comics added to them.
Oscar Bait The section "Oscar Bait tactics and examples (which have become rather confused) include..." needs sorting.
Otherkin Somebody who is familiar with this subject needs to go through the entire article and correct any misconceptions present.
Overwatch/Supplemental Material User:Agiletek reports here that "just viewing the linked URLs says the comics are all published together, as are the trailers and potentially the short stories. That's three or five "works", certainly not 52."
Perma-Stubble/Playing With "Reconstructed" and "Zig Zagged" need descriptions.
Personality Conflicts The description does not describe the work.
Planet of the Apes The franchise needs a description. What are these stories about? (Presumably "apes on a planet", but what else?)
Play-By-Post Games The examples need to be moved out of the category textm and the pages for the examples need to be tagged with this category.
Pokémon/Fanfic Recs Instead of listing works here, please add recommended works to the appropriate subpage of Pokémon/Fanfic Recs. Tropers with some time are asked to move the fanfics listed on this page over to the Pokémon/Fanfic Recs subpages.
Pokémon/Radar Much of the "radar" entries seem to have been tropers taking the opportunity to write one-handed and just be generally weird, while other "legit" examples are overexaggerated.
Pokémon (anime)/Characters/Current Main Cast The page's name needs cleanup - is the list still current?
Pokémon Special/Characters/Dex Holders The headers need to be fixed.
Pokémon the Movie: Black And White Internationally, the Black and White designations are flipped from the original Japanese. If any entries refer to the wrong movies, please fix them. Also, there are still a few Japanese names in the article.
Political Stereotype The examples section contains no examples from outside of the USA. Examples from other countries are requested.
Pom pom 5773.png File is missing and needs to be re-uploaded. The oldest copy in the Wayback Machine is from after the fork.
Possible War Needs to be rearranged into a form more like our usual pages, with the subvarieties listed and defined in the main text, and examples in their own section below, organized by subtype.
Precious As of the creation of this category, Precious redirects to Push (novel). The two works need separate pages.
Prey (Video Game) Prey (Video Game) needs to be merged with Prey (video game). Names are case-sensitive on All The Tropes.
Prey (video game) Prey (Video Game) needs to be merged with Prey (video game). Names are case-sensitive on All The Tropes.
Prince's Associates Anybody with a description, list of works, and tropelist should get their own pages.
Print Long Runners The "still running" lists need to be checked and pruned.
Psmith 7293.png File is missing and needs to be re-uploaded. The oldest copy in the Wayback Machine is from after the fork.
Public Domain Feature Films Before this page can be redirected to the category list, work pages need to be written for the redlinks here. Works Pages Are a Free Launch... but make sure that a link is correct before creating a page for it. (Our links are case-sensitive.)
Puella Magi Madoka Magica/Analysis Somebody needs to go through this and figure out which sections are Wild Mass Guessing in disguise, which are misunderstandings of the word "deconstruction", and which are actual analysis of Category:Pages Needing Cleanup; and then move the misplaced sections to the appropriate pages.
Punk This page and Punk Rock need to be merged. The majority of existing pages use Punk Rock, not Punk.
Punk Rock This page and Punk need to be merged. The majority of existing pages use Punk Rock, not Punk.
Push (novel) "Precious" currently redirects here. The award-winning movie should have its own page instead.
Questioning Title? There are titles on this list that don't link to Work pages, or link to parent pages of the work, which is preventing this page from becoming a category. Remember, Works Pages Are a Free Launch.
RWBY/Characters Needs some reorganization to reflect the evolution of the storyline as of the end of Volume 9.
Reckless This appears to be a page for Cornelia Funke's book Reckless, but it might be nice if someone familiar with it could confirm.
Red Shirt Reporter Any example that reads along the lines of "a reporter shows up and is killed" needs to be moved to Dead Line News, leaving this trope for the dangerous situations that don't kill the reporter.
Reflexive Response Some examples have been sorted one way, others have been sorted another way. Examples Need Sorting, consistently.
Refuge in Audacity/Recorded and Stand Up Comedy/Jokes Thios page needs to be merged with Refuge in Audacity/Recorded and Stand Up Comedy.
Required Secondary Powers The examples section is too long. If you find an example discussing only one of the powers listed here, move it to the examples section of that power's corresponding page, if it isn't there already.
Reviewtopia This page has a three-sentence description followed by a long list of people. The balance between information and credits-list needs to be fixed.
Right Through His Pants This trope is "ease of sex through all barriers", not "clothes convenient for sex". Examples of clothes convenient for sex - including all of the tropes currently listed under "Truth in Television" (which is a thinly-disguised Real Life section for a trope that requests No Real Life Examples) need to be moved to more appropriate tropes.
Rising Sun The main text suggests this page is about the novel, but the tropelist is heavily tilted toward the film. It needs to be split into two pages, one for each.
Risky☆Safety/Recap The original version of this page was copied from Risky Safety anime Wiki: Episode list, with all spelling and grammar errors uncorrected. The page needs to be brought into conformance with All The Tropes' style guide, including moving the existing descriptions to subpages after they have been edited for spelling and grammar and the unsubstantiated comments removed.
Rollerball (1975 film) Tropes that apply to the remake need to be moved to Rollerball (2002 film).
Ronin The three sections need to each be sorted by media types.
Rooster-at-day-break 8879.jpg A similar replacement image that doesn't have a copyright notice plastered across the top-left corner of the photo would be lovely.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer This article starts out as a discussion of the Rudolph "franchise" and mutates into a page mostly about the Rankin-Bass special. It should be split into a franchise page and individual works pages.
RudyWithHisPetSnake 2774.jpg This file needs to be replaced with one that does not have a watermark.
Rufus Rex All of the tropes listed here are about a single album, not about the creator of that album. Perhaps this should be changed to a Work page about the album.
Ryu and Ken The Video Game examples need sorting by game type. Fighting Games already have their own subsection; the rest of the examples need to follow suit.
SBB Brothers This page is a sloppy mix of creator and works. It needs to be broken out into a clean creator page and individual pages for each work.
SHUFFLE!/YMMV All YMMV tropes are subjective. Having a header "Subjectives" is pointless. What other problems are there with the headers? The headers need to be cleaned up by somebody who has seen the series and thus has an clue how to organize them.
SNK Boss Examples from media other than Fighting Games should be moved to more appropriate subpages of Nintendo Hard.
Sailor Moon/Characters/Others The "live-action only" tropes need to be moved to Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon/Characters
Sailor Moon/Characters/Supporting Cast The "live-action only" tropes need to be moved to Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon/Characters
Sailor Moon Abridged/Characters The headers need to be fixed.
Salad Days The category cloud of this page hints that this might be a web comic (the work description doesn't say), but no link to it is provided.
Schedule Slip Needs some rewrite. The main text describes this as if it were specific to web comics, and throws a small sop to other media. The description should be made media-agnostic.
Scream (1996 film) This page has info from the entire series placed here that should be moved to their appropriate pages.
Scrooge McDuck Universe/YMMV This page needs to be merged with Disney Ducks Comic Universe/YMMV, then this page can be deleted as a duplicate.
Scunthorpe Problem As of early-2022, virtually all of the examples on this page are in excess of a decade old, and most are in the present tense. Someone with too much free time on their hands needs to check to see how many are still current, and how many have become "historical", and edit the historical ones accordingly.
Sea Patrol/Characters More than one character is listed with the trope Team Chef: "May or may not be the only member who can cook, but is usually the absolute best cook in the team." Which character is the best cook and thus gets to keep the trope?
Sealed With a Kiss (film) Nothing links to this page. Nothing at all. Wikis pages need links to them if they're to be seen.
Seashell Bra/Playing With Averted, Enforced, Lampshaded, Invoked, Exploited, Defied, and Discussed need to be filled in.
Seinen This page makes multiple unsubstantiated claims about the demographic that it purports to describe, and at least once confuses it with a genre.
Shakespearian Actors The actors listed under "Shakespearian Actors without their own pages here include" need pages.
Shared Universe This trope is not "Works share the same 'verse." This trope is "Works by multiple writers share the same 'verse." If only one or two writers wrote the stories listed in an example here, then that example doesn't belong here.
Shigurui This page is tagged with both "Category:Seinen" and "Category:Shonen Demographic". At least one of them must be wrong.
Shoujo Demographic The description is littered with unverified assumptions and at least one statement that ignores the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. Somebody who has knowledge of the actual topic - not the fanboy definition that lumps "ヤングレディース" and "Redikomi" together under "Josei" - needs to review and correct this page. Please post any suggested update to the Talk page.
Shout-Out All of the examples need to be moved to relevant pages - they should not be listed in the category itself.
Shout-Out/Film These examples should be moved to Trivia subpages (or, if there are enough examples, Shout-Out subpages) of the listed work pages. Once that is complete, the resulting empty page can be deleted.
Shout-Out/To Shakespeare The examples listed for Hamlet need to be sorted.
Shukufuku no Campanella Trivia tropes need to be moved to the Trivia subpage.
Side Bet This trope is about characters paying off bets without any previous setup of the bet described or shown in the work. Examples about people making bets need to be moved to The Bet.
Sidney Poitier The first trope in the trope list needs to be named.
Similarly Named Works Each of the entries here need to be turned into a disambiguation page, and then removed from this page. This is a large task that can be done by many people; if you have time to create a disambiguation page or two, please do.
Slam Dunk/Characters Voice actor credits need to be moved out of the trope lists. People are not tropes.
Sliding Scale of Anti-Heroes/Laconic This is too wordy to be a proper Laconic page.
Sliding Scale of Anti-Villains/Laconic This is too wordy to be a proper Laconic page.
Sliding Scale of Endings This needs to be turned into set of categories, with subcategories corresponding to the section headers on this page.
Sliding Scale of Social Satisfaction Some points on the scale need definitions instead of simply being demarked by their examples, and all points on the scale need more examples.
Slogans Examples Need Sorting. Yes, they're all Advertising, but we can still sort them by what they're advertising (films, TV shows, etc.).

Page Reason
Small Genres and Unclassified Literature The "Unclassified" works need to be classified and moved to the categories for their genres. Once that is complete, this page can go away as a TV Tropes page we aren't keeping.
Small Genres and Unclassified Literature Not this page, but the pages listed here. These works need to be classified by genre. Category:Literature Genres lists the genres we already have categories for.
So You Want To/Write the Next My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic The content needs to be updated to better reflect the qualities of the show as of Season 5.
Socialism Needs to be reviewed, corrected, and expanded by somebody familiar with the subject. (The Marxism section is awful. There's no mention of historical materialism or dialectics, and its definition is way too simple.) The linking of socialism with communism is capitalistic propaganda and needs to be rectified.
Soft Desire This page was written before the work was published. If you have or have read a copy of the work, please update this page.
Space Friction The aversions need to be moved from "Played Straight" to "Exceptions".
Speed Grapher This page is tagged with both Category:Seinen and Category:Shonen Demographic. It can't be both - at least one of the categories has to be wrong...
Spell My Name with a "The" Several examples still require context, followed by a move to more appropriate tropes for those whose context doesn't fit here.
StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty Tropes from the main Starcraft II page that apply specifically to this game need to be transferred here.
Star Trek/Headscratchers This is the longest Headscratchers page on the wiki; it should be split into subpages.
Stargate: The Ark of Truth The spoiler tags in the description need to be removed, as per the wiki's style guide.
Stating the Simple Solution A number of examples, like the ones for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, appear to have originally been written for Why Don't You Just Shoot Him? and still read as though they're on that page.
Stock Scream There are enough examples of the "Howie Long" scream that it should get its own section, like the Wilhelm Scream.
Stranger Than Fiction: The Life and Times of Split Enz This is two different pages mashed together -- it starts as a page for a book about a band, and turns into a page about the band itself. Someone who actually knows something about Split Enz ought to split this apart into two separate pages.
Style Guide This document provides inconsistent formatting advice, with some examples assuming the now-deactivated visual editor and others assuming the source code editor. Visual editor examples need to be rewritten for the source editor.
Sugar Bits "Please note that the URLs for Sugar Bits and Snafu Comics has changed since this article was written; while the link in this paragraph is up to date as of May 2020, links in the trope list below may not go where you expect." All links on this page need to be checked and if necessary updated.
Suikoden V/Characters Any character that is listed on a subpage of this page needs to be removed from this page, after the entries are compared to make sure the listing on the subpage has the description and all the tropes that are in the entry on this page.
Super Move Portrait Attack/Image Links The images need more descriptive descriptions than simply "link". See the Super Smash Bros. Brawl line for how it should be done.
Super Weight/Fan Works Some individual words on this page link to more than one trope. This needs to be fixed as per this wiki's Style Guide. For now, hyphens have been placed between the links.
Supernatural (TV series)/Quotes This is the longest Quotes page on the wiki; it should be split into subpages.
Swag Rap Swag is more an attitude than a genre. Some artists listed here fit more under Satirical Hip Hop.
Sweet Jade and Hella John/Characters Formatting, TVT leftovers to clean up.
Sweet Jade and Hella John/Recap Formatting, TVT leftovers to clean up.
Sylvester Stallone The "performed in the following roles" section needs to list the roles.
Tactical Suicide Boss Edit the article and search for 'CLEANPLZ' to see the comment with the applicable details.
Tactics This page is tagged with both "Category:Shoujo Demographic" and "Category:Shonen Demographic". Which one is it?
Taerel More detail is needed about this work. Is it a roleplaying setting? Is it a shared universe in which creators are writing stories? Is it just worldbuilding for the sake of worldbuilding?
Taimanin Asagi/Characters This page has multiple "bare" URLs pointing to offsite images. If those images still exist and do not voilate Miraheze's Terms of Service, they need to be uploaded here and linked to this page properly.
Taken (film)/Trivia The entries for the sequel movies need to be moved to pages for the sequel movies, or to a page for the franchise as a whole, whichever is appropriate.
Taylor Swift/Quotes Quotes need attributions. (Dates and sources would be nice, too.)
Teacher-Student Romance As per the discussion on the trope's Talk page, the Real Life examples need to be cleaned up. "To avoid this turning into Portal:juicy_tabloids, maybe limit to just the cases (whether proven or alleged) that inspired work(s) of fiction listed on the page (such as Letourneau). And perhaps para-scientific studies can be grandfathered in." Also, a short paragraph stating that this is how we are handling Real Life examples of this trope needs to be added to the trope description. Then the "No Real Life Examples, Please" category can be removed from the page.
Teana's Travels Amazingly, this is a fanfic series which did not die, but as of May 2020 has reached thirty-seven books. The list of "books" needs summaries for books 6 through 21, and new entries for books 22 through 37.
Tear Jerker/Comics This needs to be split into two, three, or four pages: any or all of,,. and).
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Characters This page describes characters from many different versions of the story. Several characters' allegiances shift between incarnations. This page needs to be split into separate pages, one for each version of the story. (Also, shouldn't there be an entry for Miyamoto Usagi somewhere on two of those new pages?)
Terminator: Dark Fate This page appears to have been written based on trailers, not on the film itself. A rewrite might be required now that the film has been released.
That One Boss/Other Games/Strategy Please split this page into That One Boss/Video Games/4X, That One Boss/Video Games/Real Time Strategy, That One Boss/Video Games/Turn-Based Strategy, and That One Boss/Video Games/Turn Based Tactics, for consistency with the rest of the wiki.
That One Level Some examples had already been moved to subpages. The rest should follow suit.
The 10 Doctors This work has been "retired" from its website and is only available in downloadable form. Any links below that attempt to go to a specific page or panel will instead go to the site's top page, where you will no doubt see a page from an unrelated web comic.
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes/Funny The entries here need to be moved to Sherlock Holmes (TV series)/Funny, then this page can be deleted as a duplicate.
The Aesthetics of Technology Ironically, this page is outdated, with lots of "now" and "recent" references to stuff a decade or more old. A few have been changed. Others still need it.
The Animation Crossroads (Darth Wiki)/YMMV This is an orphaned subpage that needs a parent work page to link to and from.
The Bechdel Test Three examples are not clear whether they mention the Bechdel Test (and thus should remain here) or pass the Bechdel Test (and thus should be moved to the Trivia subpages for the works). Somebody who is familiar with each work needs to make the determination and either update or move each of these entries.
The Can Kicked Him A bunch of examples here are to be moved to Camping a Crapper, as the current trope has been changed from "died in the bathroom" to the more specific "killed with the toilet".
The Cat from Outer Space The spoiler tags in the description need to be removed, as per the wiki's style guide.
The Cat in the Hat Too many versions of the story are crammed into this page and its subpages. It needs to be broken out into multiple works.
The Cat in the Hat (film) This page needs information about the story. The stuff about the cast and the box-office is nice, but doesn't tell us anything about the work itself.
The Catcher in the Rye/Quotes Who are Brian and Quagmire, and what work are they from? Their quote needs proper attribution
The Daily Show Jon Stewart redirects here. He has not been involved with The Daily Show since 2015. The person and the work need separate pages
The Dead Horse Interchange The Tropes list is about the site that no longer exists, not the existing forum. This needs to be updated.
The Ferry Man Many of the examples here confuse The Ferry Man with some form of Psychopomp - these examples need to be moved to the correct sub-page of that super-trope.
The Flintstones The live-action film tropes need to be moved to The Flintstones (film).
The Gamers Alliance/Characters The headers need to be fixed - and indented boldface lines need to be turned into headers.
The Glasses Gotta Go There are still some aversions and subversions in the "Played Straight" section - these need to be moved.
The Greatest History Never Told This page has problems with its clarity and/or focus. It needs to be rewritten or reorganized.
The Grudge There appear to be a large number of tropes for Ju-On on this page that should be relocated.
The Guns of Shadow Valley Needs a work page created for the category.
The Gunslinger 1. The description in the "General Fiction" section should be incorporated into the trope description, and the examples in that section should be moved to the relevant media sections.
2. The bare letters denoting types of gunslingers should be replaced with the names of the types.
The Hating Girl The description needs to be replaced with one not copied from another website.
The Hero This description assumes that The Hero is both a brawler and part of a team. Not all heroes are violent, and not all heroes work with others; the description needs a re-write to make clear that heroes take action - alone or with allies - against injustice, not against people.
The History of Tom Jones, a Foundling Tropes about any or all of the adaptations need to be moved to the pages for the adaptations (and those pages created if they do not already exist).
The Howard Stern Show Needs more detail. In particular it makes no mention of Stern's frequent hops between radio stations during his early years in New York -- what the article suggests is a single long-running show actually had multiple incarnations in multiple markets; it implies that he's been at one station all this time, which is nowhere close to true.
The Hunger Games (novel)/Characters The title of this page indicates that it is specific to the novel, but all of the character illustrations are from the movies. The page needs to be checked by somebody familiar with the work to determine whether it is misfiled.
The Hunt for Red October (novel) The page, although specifically for the novel, crams in information about the film, which should be moved to that page.
The Illuminati Many of the examples on this page are not about an "Illuminati" - these need to be moved to Ancient Conspiracy, The Omniscient Council of Vagueness, or One World Order, as appropriate for the specific example.
The Jack Benny Program Jack Benny redirects here. The comedian deserves his own page.
The Kid with the Remote Control The current page image is JAFAAC - there's a kid, but where's the remote control?
The King of Fighters/Characters This page has "list of the characters' teams." that belong on the Trivia subpage. Entries on this page should have descriptions and trope lists.
The Leatherstocking Tales "James Fenimore Cooper" redirects here. James Fenimore Cooper is a person, not a book, and deserves his own page.
The Legend of Korra/Characters A quick glance seems to indicate that everything on this page might also be on the five subpages linked from this page. The duplication needs to be resolved one way or the other - either everything be moved to the subpages, or everything be moved from the subpages back to this page.
The Lord of the Rings/Ho Yay The examples that are about The Silmarillion need to be moved to the correct Pages Needing Cleanup pages.
The Love Bug This page discusses both a franchise and the first work in the franchise. It needs to be split into two pages.
The New English Canaan/Source Needs formatting to fit the style of other Source subpages on the wiki.
The Nineties/Useful Notes This page is over 95% USA-centric. A more global view is requested.
The Non-Adventures of Wonderella The external links in the examples need to be cleaned up, as per our Style Guide.
The Obstructive Love Interest/Playing With Two-thirds of the entries are empty.
The Oprah Winfrey Show Oprah Winfrey redirects here. The person should have her own page.
The Otherwoods Four of this page's six sections are blank.
The Owl-Knowing One Many of the examples on this page are simply listings of characters that happen to be owls, without being particularly wise (or foolish). An editor needs to go through the page and trim out the entries that don't fit the trope.
The Password Is Always Swordfish There are many examples missing the point of the trope. Delete any unfitting examples you find.
The Pirates Band of Misfits/YMMV This page needs to be merged with The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists!/YMMV. (Some details here are different than what is listed there.)
The Protomen This massive complex of pages documents both a band and their most prominent work(s), treating them more or less as the same entity. It needs to be broken into separate creator and works pages.
The Resolution Will Not Be Identified There are too many examples needing context. All The Tropes is not a place to simply make lists; please provide a reason why each example is listed on this page that can be understood by someone who has never read or watched the work in question. "See episode seven" isn't good enough. See ATT:ZCE for advice on how to fix this.
Also, the examples need sorting by medium.
The Simpsons (animation)/Recap The redlinks on this page are in TV Tropes format. They need to be changed to All The Tropes format before being used.
The Slender Man Mythos/Image Links The links are numbered. They need to be described instead.
The Stinger The article implies that "The Stinger" is not a real-world name for this trope.
The Three Stooges This needs to be split into a Creator page for the Stooges themselves, and a works page for their films.
The Tribe/Characters Every character needs a description; text that is in quote markup but is not a quote needs to be fixed; lines in the middle of descriptions need to be replaced with "tropelist" banners.
The Trickster Too many work names are potholed and thus not searchable. Worse, people not familiar with the works have no idea who these characters are or where to find them. These Zero-Context Examples needs to be fixed.
The War of 1812 This page is biased toward the view of the USA, largely dismissing the Canadian viewpoint. The page needs to be brought into balance.
The War of the Worlds (novel) There are trope entries for some of the other adaptations, most notably the Orson Welles radio play, in among the novel's tropes, on this page and the subpages.
The War on Terror The organization of this page by Terror Alert Level results in a confusing visual mess. Among other tasks, the different examples sections need to be either unified or broken out into separate pages. The related tropes section needs to be made distinct from the end of the examples as well.
Those Two Guys Character who are not examples of "the mundane Greek Chorus" need to be moved to more appropriate pages. (If all that can be said about them is that they're in the background, that's People Sit on Chairs - every story has extras in the background.)
Title Sequence Replacement As per this discussion, the trope description could use an edit pass.
Title by Number This page has two separate sets of examples, the second of which is set off by what is essentially a five-word description of a particular use of the trope. The examples need to be merged together and those five words turned into a full sentence in the main article.
To LOVE-Ru/Characters This list identifies five different characters as the protagonist of the story. At least four of those have to be wrong. Somebody who is familiar with this work needs to identify which character is the actual Protagonist and which characters are "merely" Major Characters.
Token Minority Couple The same example from South Park is listed in both sections. Which one should be removed?
Tom Hanks The "list of roles" section lists the works, but not the roles. These need to be added.
Tongue-Twister The examples in the "In Tales" section below need sorting by medium.
Touhou/Crossover Most of the links on this page are coded such that they are unusable. Some of the links are no longer functional.
Transformers Ongoing/YMMV This page needs to be merged with The Transformers (IDW comic book)/YMMV.
Trigun/Characters The entries need formatting cleanup, to match the entries under "Heroes".
Trope Namers/Anime and Manga These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Comic Books These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Film These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Film/Star Wars These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Literature These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Live-Action TV These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Music These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Oral Tradition These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Oral Tradition/Classical Mythology These should be identified in a "tropenamer" section or subpage on Classical Mythology instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Other Media These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Other Media/The Internet These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Real Life These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant creator pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Tabletop Games These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Theatre These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here. However, Works pages need to be created to put the tropenamer sections onto.
Trope Namers/Video Games These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Web Animation These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Web Comics These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Trope Namers/Western Animation These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here.
Turn of the Millennium/Comic Books The pages listed here need to be tagged with Category:Comic Books of the 2000s (and, if they continued to be published, Category:Comic Books of the 2010s and Category:Comic Books of the 2020s as appropriate). Once that's done, this page can be redirected to that category.
Twilit Overture The text says that this was "recorded in various places", but no links to any of those places has been provided.
Twin of Twins Material specific to Stir It Up needs to be moved to a Works page.
Two Plus Two Makes Five/Quotes The content here needs to be moved (not copied) to Two Plus Torture Makes Five/Quotes, then this page can be deleted as a duplicate.
US and Canadian Comics This needs to be turned into a category; there's no need for two separate pages with a lot of overlapping content. Many of the publishing houses listed at the top of this page will need to be given the category, to start.
Ulysses S. Grant The list of examples needs to be cleaned up to match the ATT standard.
Underwater Kiss This page refers to "Type A" and "Type B" subtypes. These need to be given meaningful names - tentative names have been added to the section headers.
Undocumented Features We really need to split the Trivia Tropes out to their own page someday.
Unfortunate Implications/Other Media The Real Life examples need to be removed, and the remaining examples need to be split into multiple pages by medium.
Uplay/Analysis Page written entirely in the first person and even by our standards is far too informal in style.
Uplay (Darth Wiki) This page was created with the cleanup tag.
Ur Example The tropes listed under "Tropes" need to be sorted in with the tropes in all of the other sections.
Values Dissonance/Other Media After the grammar check, the examples need to be moved to new subpages by medium, with "Board Games" going to "Tabletop Games", "Mythology" going to "Oral Tradition", and "Sports" going to "Real Life".
Vancouver "Stargate City" redirects here, which means that this page is about both the city and its use in media. These two topics should be split into two pages, as per the example set by New York City and Big Applesauce.
VanityWhite 3 8173.png This file needs to be replaced with one that does not have a watermark.
Vasquez Always Dies/Quotes The quote on this page has nothing to do with the trope, and should be moved to a more appropriate page.
Venom (comic book) This page appears to be about both a character and the works that the character appears in. These should be different pages.
Video Games/Awesome The examples listed here need to be moved - not copied - to "Awesome" subpages of the matching works, and the category Category:Video Games/Awesome needs to be confirmed to be present on all of those subpages. Once that is finished, then this page can be redirected to that category.
Vietnam The "Culture and Language" section ends with "<More to come>" - this section needs to be completed.
Villain-Beating Artifact This trope is about items that can kill one specific character. Examples that say the item can kill more than one character should be moved to more appropriate pages.
Vindicated by History/Music The "Rock, Rap, and other 20th- and 21st-century Pop styles" examples should be separated into more specific categories: Jazz, Folk, Rock, Rap, Metal, Pop, etc.
Visible Sigh Many if not all of the examples listed here need context. All The Tropes is not a place to simply make lists; please provide a reason why each example is listed on this page that can be understood by someone who has never read or watched the work in question. "See episode seven" isn't good enough. See ATT:ZCE for advice on how to do this.
Voat As of late 2020 Voat is dead. This entire article needs to be rewritten to reflect that it had a decade or so lifespan instead of portraying it as a new alternative to Reddit.
Walking Swimsuit Scene/Image Links This trope is about wearing a swimsuit, not removing a swimsuit. Examples of the latter need to be moved to more appropriate pages.
Wall Banger/Anime Entries should be moved to the individual films' YMMV subpages (or separate Wall Banger subpages if there are enough examples). If the work doesn't yet have a Works page, remember that Works Pages Are a Free Launch.
Wall Banger/Comic Books Entries should be moved to the individual works' YMMV subpages (or separate Wall Banger subpages if there are enough examples). If the work doesn't yet have a Works page, remember that Works Pages Are a Free Launch.

Webcomics Long Runners Somebody who has free time, please contact the creators of the comics listed in the "Counts and status need to be verified" sections and ask how many comics there are. Getting counts for even a handful of these entries will help.
Welcome Episode This trope is "a single new member comes into an established group." As of the addition of this banner, every example lists only the single member, leaving off the group that the member is joining. The groups need to be added.
West Bitches It is unclear how many of the unlinked videos below (still) exist. Links need to be found. Further, the description needs to be rewritten to be less like a troll or joke and more like the proper documentation of a work or series.
What Do You Mean It Wasn't Made on Drugs? Examples which describe known, confirmed aversions of this trope should be moved from this page and its subpages to Made on Drugs. Remember that by the terms on that page, simple speculation (as in the case of the Book of Revelation below) is not enough to merit a move.
