When Atticus jumps in front of and takes a hit from a Hydro Pump in order to save Dragonthing.
After the Masked Man and Kahn leave afterwards, Atty says to DT that he did a good job and gives him some chocolate. Cue smiling on both sides.
- Although immediately subverted when Atty recalls DT before he gets to eat it.
Kahn stealing a Bulbasaur from Professor Oak to give to his sister so she wouldn't feel left out after not getting a starter.
After getting healed up from the "adventure" in Veridian Forest, DT jumps up to his spot on Atty's back, and gets a genuine smile back in return. It's a small moment, but shows just how much Atty's starting to grow.
