  • Alas, Poor Villain: The killer's motivation is understandable, if way way past the line of Disproportionate Retribution, and his/her death ends the show on a note of melancholy.
  • Elimination Houdini: Kristen manages to play "The Killer's Game"(which always has a 50-50 shot of you getting killed) five separate times before getting ambushed by the killer.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: Angel, the winner, died during September 11th, 2001 only a week after the finale of MISTX aired, and his body was discovered a month or so later.
