  • Izuku being told by the doctor that he has no chance of ever developing a Quirk, his mother apologizing to him that things weren't different, and his tearful insistence that he'll face the world with a smile on his face anyway, because that's what All Might does.
    • As if that wasn't enough, he eventually meets All Might himself, who admits that it's not really possible to be a hero without a Quirk. And then, when All Might later admits that he was wrong, and that Izuku really can be a hero, the first positive affirmation that Izuku has been given in years...cue the waterworks.
