  • Meryl debuted in Metal Gear Solid: Here, she's less of a rookie, more of a Knife Nut. In fact Policenauts Meryl is a combat veteran, having supposedly been part of FOXHOUND. The bonus discs for the 3DO and PS versions did feature concept art for "Metal Gear 3" that eventually evolved into Metal Gear Solid, though.
