RWBY/YMMV

Revision as of 16:43, 20 May 2020 by Looney Toons (talk | contribs) (Removed old and new Complete Monster info, per wiki policy decision last December.)

  • Genius Bonus: In V3E1, as Emerald says her teammates are "socially awkward", we get a closeup on Mercury sniffing the inside of a boot from a vendor at the fairgrounds. The implication is that he's a little weird, and that's how Team RWBY takes it. But actually, the smell of the leather of which they're made is an indicator of the quality of a pair of boots, so Mercury is actually doing something appropriate if he's seriously considering buying them.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: Pyrrha says to Jaune in V2E7:

And thanks to you, I've made friendships that will last a lifetime.

It's a sobering moment when you realize, looking back after the end of V3, that that lifetime was going to be measured in weeks.
  • The Scrappy: Cinder Fall. Sure, she's nightmarishly evil, but there are RWBY fans who want her to leave the show instead of simply getting her comeuppance. It doesn't help that she has what one would call a "power fetish", which isn't exactly uncommon among villains. Volume 6 has given her character development, but only to a small extent.
