Red shoes indeed.

Rita Redshoes, Stage Name from Rita Pereira, is a Portuguese musician who is in the musical scene of her country since 1997, when she joined the Atomic Bees and released one album with them. Years later she was invited to play piano with David Fonseca, and worked with him until 2007, when she started her solo career.

Her first album, Golden Era, came out the next year, it had all the songs written entirely in English, and received overall good reviews, praising her intimate style. The most famous singles are "Hey Tom", "Dream On Girl" and "Choose Love".

In the second semester of 2010 she released her second album, Lights & Darks, and the media's opinions about it are still mixed.

Os course, she has a MySpace.
