  • Nightmare Fuel: Just the commercials for the short alone could terrify the young generation of that time.
    • This troper found a PICTURE of a screenshot in some Disney pamphlet when she was around 4. She Literally couldn't get that image out of her mind, and had nightmares for years. She is still (about 15 years later) VERY freaked out, and when she stumbled on the page, she nearly screamed when she saw the Monster!Mickey. seriously. This troper thinks she needs counseling. (oh, and she never even saw the short.
  • Character Rerailment: Before Epic Mickey, this short attempted to bring back Mickey's much more adventurous side, or at least reconcile the current Mickey's characterization with that of his old one.
