• The Captain's cats are almost always adored by the crew, and attacks against them are heinous at least, punishable by death at most.
  • Doubles as a Tear Jerker for some people when a cat is killed.
    • Triples as a Crowning Moment of Awesome when that cat, once killed, releases a ghost that manages to attack, and even KILL the player who just killed it!
  • The Head of Personnel's dog Ian is treated this way on /tg/station. You might think putting Ian in the washing machine is funny until the lynch mob arrives.
