* In [[One Piece]] Luffy is a more literal case of a [[Rubber Man]] than most examples of that trope. He has a very high resistance (perhaps even immunity) to electricity and has shrugged off being hit by lightning. So once Eneru, a villain with lightning based powers showed up, Luffy was far better suited to defeat Eneru than anyone else was.
