She is also an [[Eccentric Mentor]] to the protagonist and a [[Jerk With a Heart of Gold]] . Many fans have commented on how she and Stan [[Crossover Ship| could practically be soulmates]], and given as the show is something of a [[Spiritual Successor]] to ''Gravity Falls'', it does make some sense.
