Minami Makimura is the head staff of the Comic Party conventions. During the conventions, she is seen patrolling the grounds. She always checks Kazuki's dojinshi to see whether it's acceptable to be sold there. ''Comic Party Revolution'' reveals that she used to draw doujinshi, but hasn't written anything in years.
Despite being in charge of the business end of an [[expy]] of [[Comiket]], Minami is something of a romantic at heart, being willing to set up a blind date between a girl who doesn't have any experience with love and a kind boy who's the girl's age.<ref>Asahi Sakurai and Kazuki Sendo, respectively.</ref> She can also be unobservant at times, being the only person in the anime's named cast who falls for Asahi's [[Clark Kenting]] - Asahi had to put her glasses on in front of Minami for her to finally figure it out.
