Ostensibly the [[The Ingenue|pure and innocent heroine]] of the Japanese dating sim into which the title character has found herself inserted (as the villainess), there are moments that show she's far more scheming than the game let on. For instance, one of her canonical love interests is second Prince Gideon of the Empire of Soleil, who at the start is all but guaranteed to become the crown prince and heir to the empire. But when Tori's changes to the world result in his [[Ambiguous Disorder|apparently autistic]] older brother Piers being far more likely to become the crown prince instead, Alessa is shown in a private moment deciding to abandon Gideon and shift her interest to Piers. Tori also notes that from the "inside", a lot of what would be winning strategies and choices for the game look instead like a girl manipulating her admirers and taking advantage of them every way she can.
