Splatoon is a franchise of family friendly shooting games from Nintendo. Games consist primarily of shooting ink, which doubles both as an offensive weapon and as a defensive tool, allowing enhanced mobility, cover, and speed on claimed terrain, while hindering opposing forces on the same.
As of 2024 it consists of three games, plus some DLC.
- Splatoon: Released in 2015 for the Wii U.
- Splatoon 2: Released in 2017 for the Nintendo Switch.
- Splatoon 3: Released in 2022 for the Nintendo Switch.
