Hey, I have a question about this page. Does it need to be updated? Because I watched a documentary a long time ago that stated that Jack's real identity is a Polish hairdresser after some DNA testing, plus the Polish guy gave the 19th century cops sense a "disturbance in the Force." So, even if we don't believe Russell Edward's claims, the article should be updated to say "the Edward guy believes and claims that he found JTR's true identity. But reputable scientists and Ripperologists dismiss his stuff, due to incorrections and other stuff."

There's no need to ask ahead of time if a page should be updated. If you want to do it, do it.
