I assume that this is an artifact sentence from the TV Tropes days, since there is a perfectly good "Top icon" add-on for MediaWiki that we are already using here.
Does anybody have time to make new icons (or get permission to use the originals) and add them to the relevant Trope pages?
Oops. I misunderstood where the icons go - they need to go into the list.

I've found a complete set on Wikimedia Commons: 
Now to add them to the lists.
The icons are now added to the list (and the description box is now added to the frontpage of this project). Also, the various additions made by Tropers have been split off, and the sections have been given back their original names.
And the page no longer says that the icons have been left out.
EDIT: Possibly most importantly, the copyright notice that we are required to display on the page is now on the page. My apologies to John VanSickle for this oversight; I corrected it as soon as I discovered the lack of a notice here.
