Notice how, by default, the template produces an "insert reason here" message. This encourages people to follow up with a reason for the policy (which can then be disputed) instead of merely labeling it through a draconian system of "It offends one person SHUT IT DOWN".
Enter a reason for adding the "No Real Life" template to an article as an argument. For example:
{{noreallife|this wiki is not to be used as a place to foster petty grudges.}}
produces:
No real life examples, please; this wiki is not to be used as a place to foster petty grudges.
The reason accepts wiki markup. For example:
{{noreallife|this is a [[Rape Tropes|Rape Trope]], and posting real life examples could jeopardize current or future criminal court cases.}}
produces:
No real life examples, please; this is a Rape Trope, and posting real life examples could jeopardize current or future criminal court cases.
