- High Octane Nightmare Fuel: The whole premise of being by yourself in a decrepit, crumbling hospital as hordes of monsters led by a ghost try to kill you. The fact that the hospital is actually the portal between the real world and Hell doesn't help either.
- Don't forget The Trickster's second and third forms. How the hell does an old man turn into THAT?!
- Also, the bad ending. It serves you right for corrupting your daughter's soul in exchange for 17 more years though.
- Moral Event Horizon: Ben Jacobi seems to have crossed this when he sold his daughter's soul to The Trickster in exchange for 17 more years in his life. Of course, the player can cross the line too if you choose to corrupt your daughter's soul in the end.
- Needs More Love: While The Dark Meadow has gotten some attention from people, many iPhone gamers still have not tried this game yet.
- So Cool Its Awesome: While people are mixed about the Infinity Blade-esque gameplay, almost everyone raved about the voice acting in this game. For some, the old man's rants are the only reason to keep on playing.
- So Okay It's Average: The combat system is seen as this. While it definitely streamlines the fighting from Infinity Blade, there are only a few monster types to keep players on their toes. It also, like Infinity Blade, forces you to start from square one if you die, making it particularly frustrating for some gamers especially if they reached the final boss.
- I guess this troper didn't find the Door to Before in the courtyard cicada pool.
- Visual Effects of Awesome: With graphics this good, this game looks like something you normally see on your Xbox 360.
