All but the most impulsive of us want time to make big decisions, and don't like being forced to make a shotgun choice. That's understandable—especially if the decision in question is life-changing (should I propose? Should I go to college? Should I move to a different country?) or irreversible (Do I sacrifice my life to save this person? Do I tell my child that they are adopted?) and especially if they are both. |
