The Honeyman and the Hunter is a 2019 novel written by Australian author Neil Grant.
Rudra Solace is a 16-year old Indian-Australian boy living in the fishing village of Patonga. His life changes when while on a fishing trip with his dad, Rudra dredges up a tiger skull, which is the skull of the god Dakshin Rai. After his grandma dies, Rudra alongside his mom go to India to bury her ashes.
