The Lost Books
The Lost Books are a series of novels by Ted Dekker (as well as the name of the books the characters are searching for and are important in the plot of The Circle Series and The Paradise Novels) that takes place in the Books of History Chronicles multiverse.
The chronological setting is between the books Black and Red in The Circle Series.
Specifically, at the end of Black, Thomas falls asleep in the current world for 8 hours, which turns out to be 15 years in Other Earth. The Lost Books take place during the 13th year in Other Earth. To add to the confusion, two of the main characters end up traveling into Thomas' world, but 40 years after the Raison Strain incident. So 40 years after Thomas stopped the Raison Strain from destroying our world's population in The Circle Series, though that plot line is still occurring when they return to Other Earth. Confused yet?
