  • As a rule of thumb, many Japanese dubs of foreign movies (and sometimes, TV series) has more of a single cast, since many foreign movies and TV series are broadcasted by different networks and media, and each network commission their own dub with different voice cast from the dub used in a different network. The biggest offender of this is Star Wars (the original trilogy, the prequels avoids this), since it was dubbed about 5 times by different networks and media (DVD, VHS, etc) and with different voice cast.
