The Question is a Charlton Comics character created by Steve Ditko that was incorporated into the DC Universe in the 1980's after DC purchased Charlton. In the 2007 series Fifty Two the original Question, Vic Sage, died of lung cancer and was replaced by Renee Montoya.

What is heartwarming about the Question? Good Question.

  • Almost every conversation Renee and Vic have reveals some sort of deep emotion, but the Crowning Moment is split between the last two conversations they have: Before Vic lapses into his cancer-induced delirium, and before he finally dies just beyond the gates of Nanda Parbat. They are awful, but they reflect the strength of the bonds between them and just what they mean to each other.
