• Did Not Do the Research -- A lot of research was actually done in designing the guns carried by the brood, however the SSP is described as being based on the Desert Eagle, only with a .500 S&W magnum cartridge instead of the usual. A quick jump to The Other Wiki mentions that the total length of the round is 2.2 inches. Adding the metal in the magazine and the grip itself (the magazine inserts into the grip, btw.), and you might not have the most comfortable weapon in the world to give to a girl who can squeeze into a size 6 dress, despite her being able to bench press you.
• Rouge Angles of Satin: Absolutely littered with all manner of errors that a simple proofread pass could have eliminated, such as rampant word choice errors like the author's persistent misuse of "discrete" (separate) for "discreet" (circumspect), frequent sentence fragments, and missing words in key places. At least there are no outright spelling errors.
• Shout-Out: Loads of them, including (but not limited to): Stargate, Babylon 5, The Prisoner, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Star Trek, The X-Files, The Poky Little Puppy, Team Fortress 2 and many, many others. A few examples:
  • The WIC machinist who manufactures many of the succubae's guns is named Gladys Coulton. The guns she makes have lines from "Still Alive" engraved on them.
  • The Russian cyborgs are based on (or perhaps "inspired by" is more accurate) the Numbers from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS; their creator was a man named "Scaglietti".
  • Misako recites much of the dialogue from the "Meet The Heavy" promotional trailer for Team Fortress 2, calling herself "Heavy Weapons Girl", naming her new gun "Sasha", and finishing up with "Cry some more!"
