  • Awesome Music: The theme. Tom Jones actually passed out after holding that really long note at the end.
    • Johnny Cash and Shirley Bassey also recorded their own themes (the latter was called "Mr Kiss-Kiss Bang-Bang"); the Tom Jones one was just deemed the best. But both of them are pretty good in their own ways (though the Cash one is a bit out-of place since its country).
  • Big Lipped Alligator Moment: The fight between SPECTRE agents and Navy SEALs is momentarily interrupted when they're attacked by a shark, which is promptly driven off.
    • Which isn't all that strange when you consider the amount of people who'd been shot with harpoons at that point.
  • Complete Monster: Largo may be the single most sadistic villain in Bond history.
  • Evil Is Sexy: Fiona Volpe.
  • Fetish Fuel: Largo telling Domino how he's going to torture her.
    • Fiona Volpe and her inclination towards rough sex.
  • Older Than You Think: In the original novel, Bond gets sent to Shrublands to "detox".
  • What Could Have Been: Johnny Cash made an astounding theme for the movie, but Tom Jones' was chosen instead.
