Did we have a discussion to launch this trope?

Not saying that we shouldn't have launched the trope, just wondering whether everybody had a chance to give their opinions about it before the launch.

Because I would have suggested making it a Useful Note instead of a trope, but if I was outvoted somewhere...

Technically, this has happened right before America's Great Depression; but this doesn't exactly occurs often enough to justify it as an Useful Note. Hyperinflation, on the other hand...

Robkelk moved page Trope Workship: Bank Run to Trope Workshop:Trope Workship: Bank Run.

Weird. I wasn't sure what you were trying to do there. Did you intend that this trope be put on "hold" or were you intending that it launch? It does seem to be mostly a list of examples in fictional works, which is the usual format for a trope page - as "useful notes" are mostly or entirely explanatory body text.

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

Neither. It was a brand-new page that was identified as a trope, so I moved it into the Trope Workshop for everybody to have a chance at contributing to it.

Carlb (talkcontribs)

Unless I've misspelled "Trope Workshop" (oops!) it was already in the Trope Workshop with eight or nine examples before you moved it.

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

Er... You had created the page in the Main space, and called it "Trope Workship: Bank Run". I moved it out of Main and into Trope Workshop.

It's a minor difference, but an important one from the software's point of view.

Umbire the Phantom (talkcontribs)

Yeah, I was wondering what the deal was with that.

Carlb (talkcontribs)

Yup. My next creation will be the "Tripe Workshop". It will describe most of what's on the telly these days. :)

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

I think we already have a Trap Workshop... Oh, "tripe". Never mind. :)
