Hi Reddington...I'm a community-elected Miraheze Steward, responsible for assisting Miraheze wiki users with certain tasks on their wikis, undertaking certain actions requested from wikis that which they can't able to effect for various reasons, and enforcing the community's adopted global policies. Recently, one of this wiki community's significant contributors and bureaucrat/administrator requested Stewards' assistance to investigate a series of suspicious editing patterns on this wiki by different user accounts, within a very short period of time, in contravention of both the wiki's community-endorsed local policy guidance and the global Miraheze community's global policy. While Looney Toons guided you here in terms of linking you to the general All The Tropes' rules, he didn't mention either specifically or explicitly what provision he wanted you to pay particular attention to. As well, I believe you were neither aware of either policy or why it's problematic to edit pages, within a reasonably short window of time, with multiple user accounts. Chiefly, if one or more users take umbrage or otherwise object to one or more of your user accounts' edits, it becomes misleading at best and deceptive at worst, depending on whether or not it was intended, to then edit with a different user account.
So, I'm here, essentially, to link you to both policies, and strongly recommend that, in addition to picking one (1) user account around which to edit on this wiki, that you disclose all of your user accounts (presumably, via your All The Tropes' user page(s)), to make it easier to identify whether you've edited with more than one user account on this wiki. Pending that recommendation and your confirmation, I've kindly asked Robkelk to forgo any local blocks, as I do believe you just were not aware of either policy. If you wish, you can optionally request that I globally lock your alternate accounts or to Robkelk to locally block your alternate accounts. Many thanks! :)
