(Gotta admit, though, I kinda find the claim that they didn't realize that an account had been created three times in a row more than a bit suspicious. You have to be a special kind of stupid to not see that it's succeeded, given all the changes it makes to the way pages appear. Then again, they also didn't seem to grasp the very concept of markup, suggesting they've never used a wiki before and thought it would all come out pretty by magic.)

In the past, when someone has created multiple accounts in a short period -- including creating one account from another, which this person did -- it has invariably been the opening salvo of a spammer or vandal. This is why it is in the list of reasons for a permanent immediate ban with no warning in All The Tropes:How We Do Bans Around Here.

I recognized the possibility that it might be innocent, and left the user with the ability to post on the talk pages for all of the four accounts I blocked, but they have not done so. If they had responded and explained, I would have unblocked one single account of their choice -- and yes, we do undo blocks and bans, we do it all the time with the "attention-getter" bans we use when a user isn't responding to admin communications.

You appear to be in contact with them, or at least frequenting the same site. If you would care to explain to them that what they did was tantamount to walking up to us and shouting "HI! I'M A SPAMMER!", and all they have to do is post a message to the contrary in the talk page for the account of their choice, I will certainly undo the block.

"There was only one entry. And I'm not so sure it was web original because it was answering questions, so it might have been New Media rather than Web Original. And if there is an example in the future that definitely fits web original, someone could just add the web original category." A rename to New Media would work in that case, definitely. But renaming it to a subtype makes it a bit more difficult for somebody doing a Google search to find it. (It's kind of like renaming "Literature" to "Harry Potter" if all the examples are from those books.)

Yes - please provide the provenance of the image File:Kaname Family.png. Where did it come from? Who owns the copyright? Where can we find it again if there's a hard-drive failure and we need to re-download it?

Because there is no further context in the image, what it is shown (Homura swearing that she won't let Madoka receive a rejection after what's implied to be a semi-veiled confession from a flustered Madoka) implies that Homura a) doesn't get that Madoka is trying to hit on her and b) doesn't get her own love feelings towards Madoka. Double obliviousness.

If that's not the intended meaning, the wiki is free and you can change the caption.

I only saved a copy of the image you linked to; I didn't visit whatever page it was located on.

Oh, sorry - missed your message.

Conventional page markup, pretty much from the example. [[File:Star-News_The_Arctic_is_screaming.png|200px|thumb|left|sounds more like [http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/ccgs-amundsen-re-routed-to-hudson-bay-to-help-with-heavy-ice-1.3162900 screeching] to me]]
