Name's the Same: Ami Mizuno and Amy Limietta
- It should be noted that the names Ami and Amy are not pronounced in the same way at all (Ami being pronounced very much like the French word for friend. e.g. "Mon ami.") and that confusing the two would have been unlikely to say the least.
Writer on Board: Between Chibi-Usa bashing, liberal use of Conflict Balls to force the Senshi into a Hero Antagonist role, and a massively one-sided Love Triangle among many other such signs, the author very obviously favors the Nanoha characters over the Senshi, who are portrayed as massively incompetent and wrong about everything even when they're not hideously out of character (RE: Luna). He gives them occasional lipservice in his authors notes, but in-fic the Senshi behave and perform like a squad of Mooks and struggle to take out a single drone that mages of their rank should be able to slaughter by the dozens early in the fic.
- Definitely a YMMV topic. Much like Power Creep, Power Seep fans of one show will tend to feel that their show's characters are being maligned while the other show's characters are being Mary Sue'd.
  - Power is rarely the issue (I kind of agree with how the power stands up). It's usually plot elements that, when the two series' are compared, the situation is usually resolved very quickly (often to the detriment of any possible dramatic or emotional tension), and overwhelmingly in favor of Nanoha's series.
