Triple-X tattoos are commonly worn by [[Straight Edge]] punks. Did the producers not realize this? Vin Diesel wasn't supposed to be straight edge, was he?

** He doesn't smoke and doesn't drink. Drugs only really come up when the one guy tries to steal some plants while they're in Mexico, which Xander not only doesn't participate in but seems to find ridiculous. I don't see why he couldn't be straight edge. He does sleep around some and his diet isn't ever really brought up, but according to Wikipedia neither chastity or vegetarianism are hard-and-fast requirements. I'm also not sure what the issue would be if he was meant to be straight edge? Vin Diesel can't play a guy who doesn't smoke, drink, or do drugs? Why?
