  • Acceptable Targets: Arabs and Israelis are shown to be Not So Different, but rednecks are still fair game.
  • Crowning Moment of Awesome: "Yes. My feet uppercut!"
  • Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: The film's climax, when a three thousand-year-old ethnic hatred is conquered... at least in America.
  • Ear Worm: "It's A Beautiful Life". Also, the jingle for Phantom's restaurant commercial. "Everyone is going to Phantom's chewy Muchentuchen, for the food the heroes eeeeeeeeeat..."
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: A court ruled a store cannot be named "Going Out of Business" sometime after the movie came out.
  • Misblamed: Despite many critics accusing Sandler of ripping off Borat with his portrayal of Zohan, Word of God is that Zohan's personality (and even much of his background) is pretty much directly taken from one of Sandler's former hair stylists.
  • Nausea Fuel: Watching this movie may turn you off hummus.
