• Hey, It's That Voice!: Pretty much across the board:
  • Opus is Michael Bell, best known for voicing Drew Pickles and Chaz Finster.
  • Bill the cat is impressionist John Byner, who voiced the title characters on The Ant and the Aardvark.
  • Frank Welker is Santa Claus.
  • Joe Alaskey voices a trio of ducks (one of whom has Plucky Duck's voice) and Truffles the pig.
  • Tress MacNeille and Robin Williams (as "Sudy Nim") voice a hen and a kiwi at Opus's meeting.
  • Dustin Hoffman gets an uncredited cameo as Milquetoast the cockroach.
• Old Shame: For some reason, Berke doesn't like this special.
• The Other Marty: Sterling Holloway (a.k.a. Winnie the Pooh) was supposed to be the voice of Opus. This was abruptly changed to Michael Bell for no reason, which is one of the reasons Berke is not fond of this special.
