  • Complete Monster: The Evil Monkey in Bolero who murders animals with sadistic glee as it discovers new uses for the tools it devises. Eventually climaxing into it evolving into a mechanical titan who kills the rest of the animals during the construction of its new city. Why? because the animals were causing a racket making it leave the forest it was born in.
  • Crowning Moment of Funny
    • The caveman does several incredibly silly things which the others imitate. In the end, he tries to trick them into jumping off a cliff. The other cavemen just moon him.
    • God prefers a trial-and-error method with regard to creating life.
    • The knock-down, drag-out fight between the conductor and the animator, while the director tries (and fails) to keep the focus on the orchestra.
  • Cult Classic: Bolero especially is a gem of its own of Deranged Animation and detailed creatures before the age of CGI.
