Naked Lunch: An exterminator accidentally shoots his wife, then goes to Morocco to investigate drug smugglers with the help of a talking typewriter. The whole thing may or may not be a hallucination.
The Naked Gun: It's up to Francis Marion to stop a professional baseball player from assassinating a middle-aged British woman at the behest of a rich ~~Mexican~~ German guy - but not before he puts a religious dictator in a headlock and gives him a noogie. It's a comedy, although certain naive people would never know it.

The Negotiator: Disgraced cop stages late night sit-in to prove his innocence. Former colleagues attend to help him pass the time and remodel the office.
Network: Old man rants on TV about how much this generation sucks. People find it amusing.
Newsies: Boys go on strike from selling papers, until publishing companies lower the sudden tax increase on the papers they're selling. Singing, dancing, and Christian Bale pelvic thrusting ensues.
Neverwas: Psychiatrist discovers that his father wrote a book based on one of his patient's delusions, then starts believing it himself.
Night at the Museum: Perpetual slacker succumbs to gainful employment, and must stop his predecessors in the job from ripping off his new place of employment.

Night of the Living Dead: Drifter and Jerkass argue about how best to defend a farmhouse that isn't theirs from intruders desperate to break in, whilst PTSD victim cowers in shock and mother worries about ailing daughter.
