Cartoon Monsoon is a Flash animated web showcase of 19 pilots with two parts each from 2003 to September 2004. Go Go Moba Boy won for season 1 and Edgar and the Voyagers won for season 2. Several animators got their start there such as Mark Osborne who made The Stump and went on to direct Kung Fu Panda. It also had a pilot based on Zatanna with Paul Dini as the writer.

- Canon Foreigner: Damon Zatara is the only original character to appear in Zatanna.
- Man of a Thousand Voices: Tom Kenny, Grey DeLisle, Steve Blum and Khary Payton (season 2 only) voiced a majority of the characters.
- Politically-Incorrect Hero: In Go Go Moba Boy, Roxinaou says to Ducky "You are so retarded."
- Shout-Out: There are tons of references to pop culture in these shorts.
