Isn't there a video game genre also called 'card game'? While pondering the appropriate cats for SPNATI I seemed to recall reading this somewhere.

A video game is a video game. A race video game is not a road race, a video card game is not a tabletop card game. This category is for games with physical cards you hold in your hand and lay down on a table.

A fair point. I don't mean to muddle the categories, and perhaps I picked the wrong talk page for the question. I was wondering if there is a way to represent that a game is a sort of import into a different medium of another -- just like sports games, while not themselves being physical sports, often will 'import' the rules of the sport they depict with adaptations to the different environment (instead of the pitch being a grass field or running track or clay court, it's a virtual representation of the same, for instance).
