Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | The absolutely most basic type of boss monster in a video game, generally a Giant Mook or King Mook with much higher health than standard enemies and attacks that cause lots of damage. Generally makes no attempt to block or evade the player's offenses, so no special strategies required - just attack it until it dies or if you want to get really fancy, circlestrafe it. Can be considered the antithesis of a Puzzle Boss. Mostly prevalent in the FPS genre, but can also show up in other genres - even RPGs if the designers were uninspired enough. |
