"It's important for a writer to have quirks. People like that shit, you know." |
Diablo Cody (real name Brook Busey) is a former stripper, screenwriter, writer, author, and blogger. Which one of those caught your attention?
A big, big fan of Sophisticated As Hell.
She's also somewhat polarizing (no pun intended), though general consensus seems to be in favor of her work. She is currently[when?] at work on a movie adaptation of Sweet Valley High.
Works written by Diablo Cody include:
- Candy Girl: A Year in the Life of an Unlikely Stripper (Memoir, 2006)
- Juno (Movie, 2007)
- United States of Tara (TV Series, 2009-2011)
- Jennifer's Body (Movie, 2009)
- Young Adult (Movie, 2011)
